The rule could have heavy impacts towards trans people across society.
Last week, the Trump administration quietly released a sweeping new federal rule that would use funding threats to force institutions across the country to reject transgender people. The 400-page proposed regulation would codify the administration's anti-trans executive orders into binding federal policy, imposing a blanket prohibition on federal funds going toward "gender ideology"
The proposed rule, formally titled "Regulation for Federal Financial Assistance," rewrites the government-wide framework governing all federal grants across every agency. Among its most consequential provisions, it requires that before a federal grant recipient can receive money, the award must pass a "pre-issuance review" conducted by a political appointeeânot a career expert or peer reviewerâto ensure it is "consistent with applicable law, Federal agency priorities, and the national interest." The regulation explicitly instructs these appointees to screen for "denial by the recipient of the sex binary in humans or the notion that sex is a chosen or mutable characteristic." [...] An institution that acknowledges transgender people existâthrough its policies, its training, its healthcare, its bathroom access, its HR procedures, its name-change processesâcould be deemed to "deny the sex binary" or to âsupport the notion that sex is mutableâ and have its federal funding blocked.
Importantly, the gender ideology prohibition has no age limitationâhospitals could be targeted not just for providing care to minors but for providing gender-affirming care to adults, because prescribing hormone therapy to a transgender patient of any age could be deemed promoting the belief that "sex is a chosen or mutable characteristic."
This is all very bad and horrible, but I want to be clear that itâs worse and more sweeping than just eliminating trans research.
This torches everything. And I do mean everything.
A very abbreviated list of its ramifications include (but are not limited to):
ending funding for ALL DEI related initiatives
allowing the government to terminate grants at any point for any reason
preventing researchers from publishing, going to conferences, and being part of academic societies
requiring that topics must support the presidentâs agenda.
What this means, and if anything Iâm under selling it, is the death of science and research in America. It allows the government to restrict any topic they please at a whims notice, putting officials who have no background in the topic in charge of deciding funding continuity. It controls what gets researched and if/how researchers are allowed to share their discoveries. There are no books to burn if the government never allows them to be written. This is fascism plain and simple.
Please, if you only ever write one public comment, this is the one to do.
Bringing back this guide to writing an effective public comment. This gives you the basics you need to know, what you need to include, a basic outline you can follow, etc.
Public comments are not a vote, it is a chance for you to say "here is an issue with this law I think you need to address" and provide justification for legal challenges if it goes forward:
"Comments raise the bar that agencies have to meet when making a rule; âif an agency fails to adequately respond to significant, relevant comments in a final rule, members of the public may seek to challenge the rule in court on that basis and claim it could be struck down.ËŽ"
But also, if possible, don't stop at writing a comment. Don't stop at calling your representatives. You should ideally be talking to people in your community about this and organizing resistance on-the-ground; there is a good chance people are already doing that even if you aren't hearing about it.
âThe rule was jointly proposed by 42 federal agenciesâfrom the Department of Health and Human Services to the Department of Defense to the National Science Foundation to NASAâeach of which signed the document through its senior leadership. Signatories include Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at HHS, Kelly Loeffler at the Small Business Administration, and Troy Edgar at the Department of Homeland Security. It is the broadest interagency rulemaking effort of the Trump administration, and it is designed to ensure that no single agency can opt out or slow-walk implementation.â
I would really love every follower in the US to understand how fucking serious this is and to AT LEAST MAKE A PUBLIC COMMENT. Please thanks

HEY DON'T CRY. 8,008 SPECIES OF FROG IN THE WORLD PER AMPHIBIAWEB AND THE 8,000TH FROG WAS DESCRIBED BY TUMBLR'S OWN FROG SCIENTIST DR. Scherz, ET AL., PEACE AND LOVE ON PLANET EARTH âźď¸âźď¸âźď¸
this part is one that i'm really going to hate. in the wake of all that happened yesterday, i need to talk about finances. i know this is long, but i urge you to read through, because i could really use some tangible, real help right now.
as many of you know, the work we did for Avid was substantial. the music we made with him has been our lifeblood for the past several months as we have been reeling from the onset of a severe, life changing disability diagnosis that prevents us from working a typical job. music, video editing, streaming, and making our own videos are about all we can do. our disabling dissociative amnesia prevents the timely and reasonable learning of new skills. while we have been working constantly with a dissociative specialist to inch towards remedying this, we do not expect that we will be equipped to work in any other capacity any time soon.
the royalties we received from the music we made together with Avid were roughly 80-90% of our income on any given month for the calendar year so far, and they have helped us stay afloat while we have been trying to go through the rigorous and ill-equipped disability system.
putting all your eggs in one basket is never a good idea regardless, and the fears i had building for the past couple of months only further emphasized this. as such, i have been trying to diversify by engaging with streaming, trying to get my name out there for collaborative work in other SMPs, and reaching out to my creator friends for editing work. i really can't thank two people in particular enough - LeonSBU and NatureOfGaming - for providing me work as they have been able to afford and especially in Leon's case, getting my name out there for other SMPs.
unfortunately, the true extent of Avid's manipulations and lies were more than i could ever have imagined. the fact that my entire understanding of his intentions has been flipped in a matter of no more than 3 days feels like being hit by a truck. for full transparency, i am no longer in contact with Avid, but i did inform them that i was leaving the fate of our music in their hands. in the final messages he sent to me before i cut contact, he told me that he "would never cut [me] off financially". he told me he would never do a lot of things, so forgive me if i have trouble trusting this. regardless, the dropoff in listenership after what has been revealed will be substantial and immediate.
in the best case-scenario, i have a month or two left before royalties catch up to this dropoff, and will see consistent income for that time still. in the worst, i will no longer be able to afford my rent by the end of the month if he does remove the music and disable my royalty splits.
what i need is two things: i need immediate funds to fall back on in case things go poorly, and i need longevity. i have been so lucky to be surrounded by so many truly astounding and generous creators who have been willing to put my name out there for work. i am hoping this comes to fruition. i am already hearing from some about potential editing opportunities which is amazing. but things are still up in the air, and i need to be quick and smart. this is why i am doing something that my fans know i hate. i'm asking for help.
as i see it, there are three pillars to this. all the highlighted text below links directly:
immediate aid - if you have the funds to spare, buying our music on Bandcamp and donating to our Ko-Fi are methods of which we see the funds in a matter of days, if not instantly. this will help us build an emergency fund if worse comes to worse.
supporting our work - by spreading the word about our streaming on Twitch and listening to our music on streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube (and any other platform our music is on), you provide a significant source of consistent income that we can rely on month-to-month.
word of mouth - talking about what we do and why you enjoy it is a surprisingly big help, because it helps us find connections for potential growth opportunities and commission work. additionally, letting people know we have a Discord and are the ones responsible for Avid's music in the first place not only helps us, but it helps the people who loved Avid's music know there is more out there from the person who made his songs possible.
i'm gonna level with you all. i fucking hate writing this. i feel like a beggar. i feel humiliated. these past three days of piecing things together have been some of the worst of my life, and having to once again ask for help is the cherry on top. since i learned about the truth three days ago, this has been constantly looming over me. everything else has been made crystal clear to me, so i at least know without a shadow of a doubt what happened. but with this? i'm terrified. Avid knew my situation, my disability, my reliance on our work together. he has left me in a truly impossible situation. i am taking it as an opportunity to double down on the work i was already doing and try to turn it into a positive. i hope that you all are gracious enough to help me make that a reality. it would really mean the world right now.
for some positivity in all of this, here's a sneak peak of my next song. i'm so ready to move forwards and i'm trying to let this empower me to make some awesome fucking art. thank you to everyone who read to the end. hope to see you all soon <3
Relative Strangers isn't a fic or anything, just a very in-depth and detailed AU I've had in my head for a few years. I'm not sure what I'll do with it. At this point it's probably way too big to fit into a fic, as it covers years of these kids' lives both before and after the killing game.
ANYWAY WHO WANTS TO HEAR ABOUT KOREKIYO AND MIU??
Miu was conceived while her parents were still Remnants of Despair, and Sonia was pregnant with her during the Neo World Program. When Miu was born, Kazuichi and Sonia (mutually? maybe not entirely mutually) decided that Kazuichi was not in a good place to be a responsible dad to her, and should probably just stay out of her life.
Miu grew up in the kingdom of Novoselic, raised by Sonia and Gundham. The king and queen of Novoselic were very publicly known to be Remnants of Despair, and Novoselic is wildly proud about that (because judging by everything Sonia has told us about Novoselic, of course they would be, her kingdom is just Like That). They are also wildly proud of Miu, who appears often in the tabloids as their beloved, vulgar, brilliant Bastard Princess. What a scamp she is, causing yet another international incident.
Because sheâs a bastard, Miu doesnât get to be crown princess of Novoselic, and the one expected to inherit is her quiet little brother Korekiyo, who is Sonia and Gundhamâs legitimate son and heir.
Kiyo was born with an immunodeficiency that left him sickly for much of his early childhood. He spent a lot of time sitting indoors and reading his parentsâ private library, which was filled with occult texts and serial killer true crime cases. He adored and looked up to his big sister Miu, who was his hero and best friend and favorite person in the world. She was brave and strong and smart and loud and a whirlwind of energy, and Kiyo followed her around everywhere and wanted to be doing whatever she was doing. Miu, for her part, was fiercely protective of her small and weak little brother, and they had a very strong bond.
Kiyo was present for Miu's accident. Ditching their guards and sneaking out of the palace together, Miu and Kiyo were running across the street when she was hit by a car - possibly an assassination attempt, possibly meant for Kiyo. He stood there in shock in the middle of the street, speckled in her blood as the car peeled away, and stared down at the crumpled form of Miu, thinking, that canât be my sister. My sister doesnât look like that. Sheâs strong and loud and indestructible. So that canât have just happened. Any minute now, sheâll stand back up and laugh about it. Any minute now.
Miu was in a coma for three years.
Kazuichi flew in from Japan after hearing the news. Whatever long-buried hostilities remained between Sonia, Gundham, and Kazuichi, this ended them. Embracing Kazuichi tearfully, Sonia informed him that he was welcome to stay. A stiff handshake from Gundham. Of course you should be here. Only Kiyo privately hated him for only now wanting to be a part of Miuâs life. Gundham was her father. Kazuichi had no right.
For the first few weeks, Kiyo refused to leave Miuâs bedside. He wanted to be there when she woke up. He worried obsessively about her. His parents worried that it wasnât healthy, simply sitting and fretting by her bedside all day. They conspired to distract him. Gundham frequently took trips around the world as part of his animal conservation efforts, using his Ultimate Talent to propagate endangered species. On his next trip, he brought Kiyo with him.
Kiyo barely spent any time in Novoselic for the next three years, constantly traveling the world and being exposed to other countries and cultures. It was a very effective distraction; he and his father bonded and had lots of exciting adventures. Gundham taught Kiyo a lot about his work with animals (stuff like ethical breeding practices and how dangerous birth defects could appear if populations werenât genetically diverse enough and related individuals started breeding, andâŚ)
But that really didnât interest Kiyo, and it was during this period of his life that he grew fascinated with anthropology. It led to him becoming very interested in his own Japanese heritage, and wanting to learn as much as possible about it.
(He also got a few girlfriends. It was a⌠formative experience.)
They were somewhere in Gabon, working with elephants, when the news came that Miu had finally woken up, and they dropped everything and rushed back home. Miu was undergoing physical therapy when Kiyo first saw her again, struggling to walk with her atrophied muscles, and for a moment they stared at each other like strangers. (That canât be my sister. My sister doesnât look like that. Sheâs strong and loud and indestructible.) Seconds later, strong, loud, indestructible Miu was stumbling forward and barreling into him, wrapping her arms around him and declaring that how dare he get so much fuckinâ taller than her, god Kiyo, youâre a beanpole now.
Miu had always been vulgar and impulsive, but it intensified tenfold after her accident. The doctors informed her parents that it wasnât entirely her fault, that the lack of a mental filter was something common in traumatic brain injuries. Novoselic continued to love her regardless. Their Bastard Princess was back and better than ever! Miuâs physical weakness and lack of impulse control (and being so much shorter than him now) caused her relationship with Kiyo to reverse; suddenly it felt like he was the responsible older brother who had to protect her. Their sibling bond remained strong - despite how much theyâd both changed, they were still each othersâ best friends.
Kazuichi stuck around for Miuâs recovery, finally taking the opportunity to be a dad to her. (Kiyo was never happy about this, but came to grudgingly accept it, especially since it made Miu so happy.) Miu and Kazuichi hit it off immediately, and ended up bonding over their shared love of machines. It was with Kazuichiâs help that Miu discovered her knack for inventing. When he was ready to go back home, Kazuichi promised Miu heâd stay in touch, and invited both her and Korekiyo (a little desperately on Kiyoâs end, come on man, I know you donât like me, but give me a chance, for your momâs sake, we can be cool with each other) to come visit him whenever they wanted. Kiyo took him up on this mostly because it was an excuse to spend time in Japan.
It was on one of these trips that they were grabbed by Team Danganronpa.
Miu had pulled her usual stunt of ditching their bodyguard to get high in the airport bathroom. (âGod damn Iâm so bored, I wanna get high and fuck something.â âWell, I can solve one of those problems.â âYou have drugs?â âMiu what do you take me for, of course I have drugs. You know, an isolated village in the amazon uses this substance for spiritual-â âYeah whatever, spare the lecture and gimme.â) A long-suffering Kiyo had followed to keep her out of trouble. (And maybe also partake in the high, like, a little bit. Responsibly.)
The next thing they knew, theyâd been jumped and drugged and dragged away, and Kazuichi was making some pretty frantic long distance calls to their mom about how it wasnât his fault, and donât be mad, but their bodyguards lost them at the airport⌠No, yeah, Iâm sure theyâll turn up, they do this all the timeâŚ
As part of their plan to get the worldâs attention by mocking and angering the former killing game survivors, Team Danganronpa used the Neo World Program to create fake backstories for Miu and Kiyo. Miu, they left pretty much untouched, figuring that nothing they did to her could be more insulting to her parents than her actual personality. They went to town on Kiyo, twisting his memories of his and Miuâs relationship, poisoning everything wholesome about his childhood. The incest plotline was specifically to anger Gundham, the serial killer plotline to anger Sonia. When at last they awoke in the killing game, Miu and Korekiyo were strangers to each other, repulsed by each otherâs personalities. (But, somewhere deep down, unwilling to kill each other for the game. Itâs not just for her vulgarity that Kiyo mentions Miu as a girl unworthy of being his target.)
After their rescue, things were⌠different.
Kiyo and Miu were initially horrified and disgusted to learn that they were actually siblings. Their real lives were tangled up in their fake backstories, their memories an inseparable slurry of reality and fiction. Kiyo was still mourning the fictional Sister who heâd now lost a second time; he couldnât see Miu as his sister, couldnât think of her the way heâd thought of Sister. Miu, meanwhile, was creeped out by him and wanted nothing to do with him. It took a long time for them to even speak to each other again, after picking through their memories and retrieving contextless bits and pieces of each other.
But even if they wanted to reforge that strong bond they used to have, thereâs so much baggage now. When they spend time together, people look at them strangely, and wonder about the⌠nature of their relationship. When they touch each other, it triggers trauma from fake memories of an abusive, controlling relationship Team Danganronpa planted in Kiyoâs head.
(âScrew it,â Miu says one night, crawling into bed with him like she used to when they were children, careful to leave space between them, careful not to box him in. âI donât care anymore. Since when have either of us ever cared about fuckinâ taboos? People can think whatever the hell they want. I miss you.â)

Israel says it will expand its offensive across most of Gaza
AFP A Palestinian woman holding a child lines up for a hot meal at a food distribution point at the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.AFP
Israel's defence minister has announced its military will soon "vigorously" expand its offensive throughout most of Gaza.
Israel Katz also said the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had completed the takeover of a "security zone" in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, separating the cities of Rafah and Khan Younis.
Israel's military also issued evacuation orders for Khan Younis and its surrounding areas, saying it was preparing to carry out strikes in response to the launch of projectiles from Gaza, which Hamas has claimed responsibility for.
Israel resumed its offensive against Hamas on 18 March following the collapse of a two-month ceasefire.
Since then, it has seized large areas of Gaza, displacing hundreds of thousands of Gazans once more.

Where do we go from here?

toshiko does this to herself because she loves playing dating sims and judging their relationship writing. she ignores the "not for those who are easily disturbed" warnings because she believes she isn't easily disturbed (incorrect). her favorite girl is yuri. you can imagine the emotional turmoil she went through in act 2.
damon gets forced into playing it, probably by eva. eva is a chronically online horror fan so there's no way in hell she didn't know full well where this game was going. honestly, she wishes it was scarier. eva's favorite girl is monika and she will die on the hill of defending her. damon gets abnormally into the actual literature discussions in act 1 so when it turns into a glitchy meta horror game he gets kind of bored. though, sayori was his favorite girl so the end of act 1 did make him cry.
wolfgang's favorite girl is natsuki and he pretends to dislike monika more than he actually does just to ragebait eva into ethical debates on what counts as murder. i don't think he'd find the game very scary. diana finds it a a little scary but she mostly thinks it's really sad. her favorite is monika. kai thinks the game is so fucking scary and he keeps grabbing damon's arm and shrieking every time anything weird happens. his favorite is probably also sayori? maybe? i mean, that's the route damon's playing so it's the route he sees
The thing is, even if you were lucky and your parents taught you how to clean, they probably didn't teach you how to clean the stuff you clean stuff with, like brushes, mops, sponges, rags, and so on. Or how to clean your cleaning appliances, like a dish washer, clothes washing machine, and clothes dryer and its ducts (if you have a ducted dryer), or a carpet cleaner, vacuum, Or how to clean up clean messes, like spilled bleach or detergent.
My parents threw away all of these things (even the vacuum cleaners and the dryer) when they got too dirty to function, because no one even told them THAT they could be cleaned. Cost them thousands of dollars over the years.
All I'm saying is that cleaning is not intuitive, and not knowing how to clean is not a moral failing, but it is something you can learn.
I'm going to reblog this post with resources for learning how to clean things and how to clean cleaning things (I'm not at my desk at the moment). If you have any favorites, please feel free to add them in too!
I like this video because it does a great job of introducing the basic foundations of house cleaning (and because he doesn't use bleach, which is a common allergy in addition to being awful to inhale). He also talks a little about how to clean a vacuum. And why you shouldn't put grease from your pots and pans down the sink drain. I also love that he mentions that different houses and different people have different needs and different versions of what clean and cleaning looks like.
He doesn't mention though that the toilet seat comes off. I take my toilet seat off to clean under the hinges and clean the seat more thoroughly once a quarter.
This is another video from the same guy about cleaning and depression. This advice, especially at the beginning, can feel really really difficult and oppressive to hear. However, I find that it's generally pretty solid. But I'm autistic and so is he, so that gets a massive Your Mileage May Vary stamp on it.
I have a favorite part of this video. It's from 10:52 to 12:36. I think we could all use to hear that. There's a HEFTY pause after that one. I promise the narration does come back.
I'm also going to recommend KC Davis' book "How To Keep House While Drowning"
This is a pair of videos about how to correctly load and use a dish washer.
The first one is a quick 1 minute 30 second overview on loading. I can't find the exact video I'm looking for, so consider this a substitute for that. If I can find the one I'm looking for, I'll swap it in.
The second is a half hour deep dive on dishwashers and detergents. The short form of that is you shouldn't need to pre-rinse anything, detergent pods are overpriced and can cause problems, some dishwashers have a filter in the bottom that needs to be cleaned (but most don't), run your sink until the water is HOT before starting your dish washer, and put a little detergent in the pre-rinse dispenser when you're washing extra dirty dishes (or on the inside of the door if your dishwasher doesn't have a pre-rinse dispenser).
How to clean a front load washer (with bleach). This should be done monthly or every time you wash really soiled clothes.
With expert tips and tricks for all types of washers.
How to clean a top loader (without the removable agitator thing). This should be done every 1-3 months depending on you unit, or every time you wash really soiled clothes.
Regular cleaning of a top-load washing machine will prolong the life of the appliance and leave your laundry cleaner and brighter.
How to clean a top loader (with the removable agitator thing). This should be done every month, or every time you wash really soiled clothes.
These carpet brushes are a LIFE SAVER if you have dogs. This thing allows me to go from vacuuming about 4 square feet before my vacuum is full to vacuuming half the living room (I don't vacuum often enough. You should vacuum weekly, and I just can't.). I have to unclog the vacuum less often. It fluffs up some of the flat spots in the carpet. And I also use the brush to shampoo my rugs in the spring.
A spot cleaner (or a carpet cleaner with a spot cleaner attachment) is another life saver, ESPECIALLY if you can afford to splurge on a heated one. I see them at Goodwill or at yard sales occasionally, and they're worth picking up. The shark one in the video is great too.
This channel is gold. There's tutorials for cleaning EVERYTHING on there. Just go subscribe!
Gonna throw another potential resource at the end of this very long list, which may be potentially helpful for others like me who loathe videos. It's... the weirdest thing that has genuinely been helpful to me in housekeeping. Absolutely full of useful advice, and bizarrely still relevant in large part. (Though, caveat, research ANYTHING to do with chemicals or cleaning products more complicated than vinegar + lemon + water for modern information.)
It's America's Housekeeping Book (1941). Available for free download on the Internet Archive. (Large PDF file at the link here).
The LISTS y'all. The step by step lists. The emphasis on efficiency and arranging spaces for the least resistance possible. The basic concept of "take a tray or basket into a room when you are tidying up so you can put things that belong elsewhere on it and take them out LATER in ONE GO".
Hello, I'm known as Aurora. A while ago, I had a medical emergency regarding my foot. (I'm okay now, thankfully.) However, I'm unfortunately buried in medical debt, and my only option is to make payments of $106 per month, which I can't afford given my varied work hours, not to mention other costs such as rent and utilities. That's why, even though I don't like asking for help... I need it now more than ever. I have set up my Ko-fi for anyone willing to donate and/or request a commission. I'd appreciate it, and that goes for my commissions as well. I will also have my commission sheet and TOS posted below as well. Thank you for taking the time to read, and I look forward to drawing for you!

đŤAuroraâs Commission TOSđŤ Introduction: Hello, and thank you for considering me as someone to commission and bring whatever ideas you have
I am not asking for a lot...just enough to pay the 106 USD monthly. If you can't, that's okay too. Please share with anyone if you can.

I reblogged this last month, tagged it, and said âmight as well see if it works.â I used this video as a reference to find all the forms that i needed (which is A LOT, especially if youâre a dependent) and sent them through the mail, not really allowing myself to hope.
dude.
$2,714 of medical debt from my top surgery - gone. im shaking this was such a weight on me for 2 years and it fucking worked. what the fuck.
Hospitals like to hide these policies under a lot of successive links in obscure places, so if you don't see anything right away, keep looking! Get friends to help! Make it a scavenger hunt. A game where you're assassins sent to slit capitalism's throat
I went to him because he was 1.) the cheapest possible option and since I needed crowdfunding that seemed best 2.) within driving distance of my friends whoâd be able to host me.
I didnât have any complications and I donât hate my results, so the fact that he stopped offering free revisions after COVID (including for people who had their surgeries before the pandemic) and ghosts everyone isnât a huge deal personally. I do have moderate to severe dog-earring right in the middle my chest which limits what clothing I can wear and have inquired about possible revisions with other surgeons (so far no one has been willing to operate on other drâs work and have told me Iâd need to pay the price of a full secondary top surgery). Dr. Wolf famously ghosts all his patients after surgery and has strict weight limits.
HOWEVER I accompanied my friend to their top surgery at the University of Michigan last year that made Dr. Wolfâs entire process seem back alley and sketchy by comparison. My friend had extensive pre- and post-surgical monitoring and extreme sanitary precautions. Dr. Wolf just had me take off my shirt and slapped me on the operation table still wearing my street clothes and then scraped me up and sent me home the moment I regained consciousness. His bedside manner was offputting and uncomfortable. It has been impossible to contact him ever since, even to ask politely why my stitches look so different from his other results. Other people with much worse results have also been ghosted.
OH AND ALSO when I asked if he could swap my left and right nipples just for the hell of it he said âyeah sure lolâ but apparently youâre not supposed to do that because there is the risk of like, manually metastasizing cancer cells. lol. I did ask for it and I think I am at very low risk for breast cancer but I do think a responsible surgeon should at least know about and warn you of that possibility before agreeing to it.
my friends and my ex were great caretakers who made the recovery process easy and kind of fun but knowing what I know now makes the whole experience retroactively a little bit traumatic

for a request maybe something with Naejunko (Makoto x Junko from danganronpa)
(call for ficlet requests)
Ooh, a pairing I've never attempted to write! Could be a fun challenge.
Here you go! As a heads-up, this ficlet contains a mild sense of sexual threat; I'm going to assume you requested this pairing in the expectation that it'd be at least a little messed up.
Sorry for using surnames; it's a habit I never got out of when writing for the first two Danganronpa games!

âOkay,â Enoshima says, planting her elbows on her podium. âHereâs whatâs gonna happen. You all suck, and youâre getting expelled from Hopeâs Peak. You can all head out into the wasteland and get annihilated or whatever. BuuuuutâŚâ Her grin broadens so widely it almost twinkles. âIâm keeping Naegi.â
Naegi tenses up. Sheâsâ
Sheâs keeping him? What does that mean?
âNo,â Kirigiri says.
âNo?â Enoshima echoes. âYou think you get to talk back to your headmaster like that?â
âWeâre not going to leave Naegi-kun behind,â Kirigiri says, quiet and even.
Enoshima produces what looks like a remote control from her sleeve with a flourish. âGuess what: itâs not your choice. Trapdoor time!â
In the next instant, the air is filled with startled yelps and screams.
And then thereâs nobody in the trial room but Naegi and the girl behind all this.
âRight,â Enoshima says. Naegi barely hears it, staring at the podiums where Kirigiri and Asahina were standing a moment ago. âThatâs enough of those losers. You wanna head back to the dorms?â
Naegi swallows. âAre they â are they okay?â
âI didnât drop them into a furnace, if thatâs what youâre asking,â Enoshima says. âAlthough that wouldâve been pretty funny. But theyâre out in apocalypseland now, soooooâŚâ She shrugs. âWanna take bets on how long theyâll be okay?â
So theyâre alive. Okay. Theyâve got Kirigiri and Togami with them; theyâll be fine. WhatâŚ
