I'm a pacifist like institutionally but I'm absolutely certain that violence solves at least some problems on a much smaller level. I don't believe in wars or nuclear weapons or military campaigns I do believe in the power of that guy who punched the nazi in the face so hard his entire media presence immediately crumbled to dust
(X)
I wish this feeling upon everyone who wants to wear a dress, its really the best
this makes me so happy as a fat hairy guy who likes skirts and dresses i never get to see guys like me in dresses it’s always skinny twinks this makes me so happy 🥺🥺
a neutral reminder that while being a hater can be a fun indulgence you can never find long term happiness by spending your time constantly hating on things and you can’t make long term friends if the only thing you have in common is something you both dislike; you need to love and be passionate about things. being petty gets old. you need to be a lover too
must feel good as fuck to curse a prince for being rude to you while you were larping as an old woman for no reason

“Haha remember when murder-hornets were gonna be a thing? What a nothingburger.”
Yes, because the Washington state government activated like a sleeper-cell and ruthlessly, systematically hunted them down and annihilated them.
“Y2K came to nothing amirite?”
Yes because an army of software engineers working around the clock, losing sleep, and busting ass till the last minute prevented it from happening.
“Remember the hole in the ozone layer?”
You mean the one that was fixed through rigorous world wide government action?
One of the root problems of our society is a refusal or inability by media to articulate that all those “it’s gonna be an apocalypse” disasters were not disasters because we collectively did something about them.
The good news is this is actually quite correctable. I maintain my firm belief that we as humans are capable of solving almost all of our problems, when we decide to do so.
And I still think that’s going to happen. I don’t know when or how, but I do know that abandoning hope won’t help bring it about.
And I refuse to let the cynics own a chunk of my heart.
When I was training to be a battered women’s advocate, my supervisor said something that really blew my mind:
“You can always assume one thing about your clients; and that is that they are doing their best. Always assume everyone is doing their best. And if they’re having a day where their best just isn’t that great, or their best doesn’t look like your best, you have to be okay with that.”
Any now whenever anyone in my life, either a friend or a client, frustrates me, disappoints me, or pisses me off, I just tell myself They are doing their best. Their best isn’t that great today, but I have days where my best isn’t that great either.
Op I’d like to thank you for sharing this. Ever since the first time I’ve read it I’ve held it in my mind and it really has helped me to be kinder to others and to myself.
“It’s photoshopped” honestly in the age of AI that has a homey sort of nostalgia to it. Remember when people used to put effort into faking things?
photoshop fakers are like the villain with moral standards now
If Diana had to close Damon's eyes, imagine what Ingrid was doing while Toshiko was being executed.
Imagine the next day with both of them in silence torn by the loss of the people closest to them in the killing game. Ingrid wants to desperate comfort Damon, but she can't even pull herself together properly anymore. Both aren't even fully dressed like they usually would be, it took them enough effort to get out of bed. They only have their collared shirts, pants and shoes on. Their hair is messy and unkept and it's obvious they have been crying without a wink of sleep. Images of Kai and Toshiko's last moments practically branded into their memory, unable to unsee everything. It's just them left in the dining room, there's nothing in front of them to eat or drink; their bodies only moved out of adapted routine.
It gets too much, Damon reaches out first surprisingly. His body leans limp against her, his hand gripping onto her short for a lifetime. Ingrid barely snaps out of it to realize what's happening. When she does, she couldn't stay strong anymore and breaks right in front of him. It's barely a hug, more so them leaning on each other and grasping whatever keeps them grounded. No words were exchanged, however the shared pain and trauma was heard in that silence.
And then Ingrid dies next. Her body was barely recognizable, it took the tablet to show that Ingrid was the mess all over the walls. Damon stared at it, locked into her portrait and her smile. That warm, supportive smile that was never faked, only strained after a while. He slowly dreaded to realize that he was forgetting her face, forgetting that warmth she had even when she was at her worst. Would they really be friends if they weren't trapped?
Did it even matter to wonder such things anymore?

This is the best tag I've ever received on a post, I think
If Kefka cannot be found to terrorize with a chainsaw, store-bought Gonska will do fine
every video game needs a religious companion who is really chill outside of combat and then inside of combat yells super intense things about divine wrath and how they hope their god has mercy for their enemies because they have none and is in general clearly way too into it
Do you ever write a sentence and then realize “Nah, that’s too self aware for you” and backspace a bunch of times.

in 2026 DO NOT ask yourself whether your art is GOOD
instead ask:
is it SINCERE
was it CATHARTIC
was it FUN TO MAKE
is it MADE BY ME
and don't forget to stay silly
Ingrid's scrapped girlfriend, Joan, but my take on her and their relationship. She will be drawn later. Am tired, man.
Joan grew up working on her family's farm full-time. Her family isn't as big as Ingrid's, but she has a few younger siblings she was made to raise since her mother and father were busy with their own respective jobs.
She likes gardening and handling flowers during the very little spare time she gets. She sings and talks to the plants sometimes when she's stressed if she's not throwing punches at trees. Yes, she has some muscle like our lovely Ingrid.
They met at a Renaissance fair rather than online because Ingrid is technologically illiterate and you can't convince me otherwise. Although she has asked her siblings to help her understand enough about her flip phone to call and text her the moment she was handed Joan's number. She's not the greatest at texting, but Joan finds her misspellings cute albeit confusing. They don't get to see each other in person often, Ren Fairs are their main spot to reunite and enjoy something not fully focused on their jobs. A little indulgence together if you will.
The one thing that is rocky between them is their ideology towards their family and the family businesses. Ingrid was made to believe that she and everyone else should be grateful to their parents no matter what and wouldn't even think about quitting her family legacy. Meanwhile, Joan is frustrated with how she's treated in her home life as the breadwinner and a second mom to her siblings. While being the eldest siblings with way too much expectations loaded on them was something that brought them together, they can't seem to agree on how to feel about it. It's not relationship ending, but Joan is worried about Ingrid deeply because of her drilled in mindset.
It also is an issue between someone dubbed an ultimate verses a regular person. In Ingrid's eyes, she doesn't think Joan fully understands how much is on the line when it comes to her family's business. Generations leading to her and only her so her own siblings can choose a path for themselves and because of the Ultimate status it practically makes her and her alone the only person that can carry and save that legacy. Failing or choosing anything else would mean death to her family's legacy. That guilt is worse in her eyes than the unfair expectations.
Both of them are very stubborn and insistent that their own points are right and it does lead to arguments. They are a happy, healthy couple otherwise. They are almost egregiously affection when they are together in person. Sweet smooches all over the face, carrying and swinging each other around, enjoying picnics or even a nice nap on the grass. It's something they wouldn't change for a thing, even if things aren't always picture perfect.
