Scar: So! If we go back to the droids- actually, I forgot to say. The droid Leia gave the message to is called R2-D2 and she sent it off together with another droid called C-3PO.

Spinel: Ooh. Those name are funny! They kinda sounds like how other gems identifiy themselves by cut!

Jimmy: Other gems? Not you?

Spinel: Oh pshhh there aren't many of me, don't even remember my cut.

Jimmy: That makes sense. I guess?

Scar: ANYWAY. Ehm ehm. Where was I?

Spinel: The droids with the funny names!

Scar: Right! So, these droid reach the planet Tatooine and are captured by droid sellers and then they are bought by a young farmer called Luke Skywalker!

Spinel: Like they do with pearls!

Scar: What. They uh...do that?

Spinel: Not with the diamonds, those pearls are custom made! But I heard from Pink that other high ranking gems can do something like that to get their own pearl!

Jimmy: ... That's...yikes?

Spinel: Though Pink also told me Violet Diamond has been arguing that It's not really dignified... I don't really get it but Pink was really angry that the other diamonds listened to Violets suggestion and not hers...

Scar: Now imagine that pearl has a super weapon aimed at homeworld and tells you that if you don't say anything she will blow it up and shatter every gem. Would you tell her?

Spinel: Ohh... I get it! Leia doesn't want the planet to go boom so she'll reveal the secret!

Scar: Oh yes... But It's even worse then that. You see my friend, they are planning to use the weapon anyway no matter what she says.

Spinel: But I don't understand... then Leia wouldn't say anything?

Scar: Oh but you see... they lie to her.

Jimmy: It's like a show of force, right? Scare the other planets out of their pants or something.

Scar: Exactly Jimmy! Gold star for you!

Jimmy: Don't patronise me... also I already have a golden star, I'm the sheriff.

Scar: ... Anyway, that's why they lie to her!

Spinel: Oh no! Does ...does she reveal the secrets then?

Scar: Ah! Luckily not anything important! ... Still, she can't do anything to stop it. The weapon is fired.

(Part 1)

It is soon after her joining the academy that she finds the book, nestled in the depths of the secret secret library. A story much like the ones the other students have found. Of a mage of phropecy reaching to fate not just to see, but to shift it. A desperate mage clinging to the future changing destiny at the cost of her life. Burned by their own magic.

Then, she has little time to process. The cursed rituals begin and with it... she knew the cost of changing the future is high, her book told her so, she warned the students that those rituals were wrong. They didn't listen.

You know I like randomizing stuff... So I went all out with this one. I used a power randomizer to get her magic, I used an aesthetic randomizer for the skin aesthetic and a colour scheme randomizer for her colours...

Scar: Yes. And the droid is sent to a desert planet called Tatooine while Leia is interrogated by Darth Vader.

Spinel: Oh no!
