Going to put this as my pinned. Hi everyone reading the names Space. He/Him is preferred, I do identify as a man, but am also fine with They/Them if you want to. I really don't mind it enough to tell you not to use it. I i am mostly going to post Hermitcraft related stuff but I have been into a lot of stuff so I make references sometimes. Going to put links to posts I think are important I guess.

There are some recurring themes in mcyt, and there are pieces of lore that unite to make a web of connections between different concepts... Let's look at them.
And since I mentioned I would make this post on a watcher lore post let us begin with
EYES
The first few connections are the easiest. The Watchers who first arrived in the mcyt sphere during Evo and stayed in our minds rent free are the first and most obvious and their presence connects then to Grian who is canonically one of their members.
This is however an unnecessary connection as Grian himself has a constant association with eyes, specifically his eyes being empty like the void. His expression being soulless as Mumbo said in Secret Life. His eyes staring into your soul. Recently he has even added the void texture to his eyes. Keep the void in mind, it will important later. Though, small correction to be done, the "void eyes" texture is actually the end portal texture, not the void texture...still the connections between the two concepts are strong enough and Grian has been described as having empty eyes and the void eyes thing has been said so much it might as well...it doesn't really change much.
Other Hermits also have strong connections with eye. Keralis, who is known for his phrase "look into my eyes, nothing but my eyes" and Bdubs who is known for having the biggest largest anime eyes in any minecraft skin are also to be considered.
The Life series in general can't be ignored, as it was created by the watchers and Grian with Grian also as It's admin and Bdubs as one of it's players. In this case I used the Third Life title card to represent ALL life series.
Moving then from watchers there is a second major connection, the creaking and the enderman.
The creaking is a monster with many glowing yellow eyes who can only move when not being observed. They have a connection to the eye blossoms, magical flowers that live in the same biome as creakings and share their colour scheme and have one single glowing orange eye in their centers.
The enderman is a monster with glowing purple eyes that will become violent if looked in the eye and who's dropped is used to craft an "eye of ender".
And of course, the eyes of ender are used to step into the end. The most mysterious of minecraft dimensions and the home dimension of the endermen.
Now, moving on, the watchers and the End have a strong connections. The Watchers are for one the ones who in the Evolution smp server messed with the End portal to split the players up and it is trough the end portal that Grian was made into a watcher.
The Creaking instead opens up some connections with other servers like Bannerfall who was for a while under threat by The Creaking King. A powerful figure hellbent on taking over the world and becoming a god... And it also opens up a connection back to the life series. After all Scott and BigB, two regular players of the series both spent a season as creakings.
We can also add the Corruption from The Realm SMP and the Eye Ritual in the Flight Smp as they are both magical purple eyes emerging in the air. The two are also connected to eachother by virtue of their connection with the concept of corruption. One is called "The Corruption" and the other is a ritual made to detect corruption in people.
There is also The King In Yellow who in DAWTDE appeared at the end in the form of golden eyes in a large room.
Coming back to Hermitcraft and The Life Series there is another player to consider, Zombiecleo. Not only she was the winner of Real Life, a meta series where everyone was playing in vr by covering their eyes. But her season 10 build had mysterious glowing purple eyes beneath it.
Then, the QSMP had a figure known as "The Watcher", a black figure with only one singular eye. I wouldn't connect it to the watchers though, there is nothing to imply them to work together... I would however connect it to Purgatory, a special QSMP event that it organized and that had an eye as a symbol.
Speaking of the QSMP, there is a strong connection between it and The End. The entire premise of one of the major arcs of that series were ender dragon eggs, each player had adopted one with a partner... And of course ender dragon eggs come from the ender dragon who guards the end.
The introduction of the dragon adds a few more important connections. For one the dragons of The Flight Smp which are dragons (duh), for two Grian forms a new connection as he was the one to steal the dragon egg in s8 and start the tegg event.
Grian in general seems to have a weird connection with eggs. He was Poultryman and he threw eggs as his weapon, he got attached to the gregg, took the dragon egg in season 8, built a giant egg as a base in Secret Life, started team EGG in Hermitcraft... It's definitely weird.
There's also something to be said about white eyes specifically... It's an important part of the story of DSMP's Eret and of course Herobrine
Now, let's move on to a more specific connection...
Before that, let's make one thing clear. The void is space, and space is void. The void is endless empty darkness where life cannot exist on It's own, what's far above and below the earth. The essence between the various dimensions. Where the sun, moon and stars are. To survive in it the boatem crew had to put on suits similiars to those of austronauts. Whatever the void is exactly it is also the emptyness of space in the Minecraft world.
Now, let's start with a simple line of connections. Eyes connect to watchers, connect to the end, connect to the void/space.
Let's talk about Grian, he's a watcher, that I already said but when talking about him I also mentioned the connection his eyes have with the void. This connection is made stronger now that Grian's base is an observatory, used to both watch the stars and other players.
Also let's add three new important symbols: The Sun, the Stars and The Moon. They each connect to eachother and to space.
Let's start with the sun. Grian also to the sun as his name is the irish translation of the sun and because after Third Life the fandom assigned him to the sun so much It's basically part of most creation It's basically been incorporated into canon because of how prevalent it is. Another Life series and Hermitcraft player who is connected to the sun is Bdubs who is literally a god of the sun.
Another connection to the sun is through the eye ritual in The Flight Smp as it seems to be connected to that worlds sun god. After all it was sun god who told callum not to perform the ritual.
Then, for the stars. Grian's observatory connects him to them as he's planning to have a starry sky in it, Grian's season 8 base also had a starry sky inside his base. And of course by having the "void eyes" he has stars in them as stars are part of that end portal/void texture.
There is also Scott who like Grian was assigned the stars as a symbol after winning, he specifically has a connection with the watchers though as according to Martyn's conversation with the watchers in last life he defied them... Also Scott has his own eye-fuckery going on for reasons already explained...and, something else too! In Empires smp his character famously had one of his eyes taken away by a magical skull.
Finally to perform the Eye ritual in the Flight SMP It's necessary to use a specific item called a "fallen star".
Then the moon... Pearlescentmoon, the winner of Double Life who was assigned the satellite because of her name. The one who claimed that the literal moon was her cousin. Pearl also has direct connections to space as in season 9 she was an alien and had lore about that.
There is also the Mooner cult that Grian was part of when the season 8 moon fell down from the sky.
And the fact that on the one april fools update in which it became possible to go onto the moon the texture of the ground there was the same as the endstone texture found in the end but desaturated... This one is less strong but might as well include it.
Then a few more connections to complete it.
The Corruption appeared first as an eye replacing celestial objects.
Geminitay, a life series player was the princess of Dawn and started the church of the sun and had the void corrupt her in Secret Life.
Pearl is also connected to the sun, when worshipped as Saint Pearl she was represented with sunflowers and in Hermitcraft season 10 her base's theme was Solarpunk.
The Watchers in Evo were able to summon meteors, a strong connection to space.
And finally a quote that has been said so often in many server. "You stare into the void, the void stares back." A direct connection between eyes and the void, the void is identifies as something that observes. Something that stares from below within hidden eyes.
There's another concept to be connected to eyes, ones that connects with almost all that which we already discussed: Divinity.
First trough the watchers, who are divine in nature as it has been strongly implied.
Then through Bdubs who as mentioned before is a god. And the Eye ritual which is connected to a god which I already explained.
Then there is the Watcher from the QSMP who is connected to the weird system of gods, angels and demons of that series, or might straight up be one of them. I don't remember with 100% certainty.
Then, let's consider the creaking king who is called out by the Bannerfall gods as someone who thinks of himself as one of them and his objective is related to his want to be a god.
And the king in yellow, a god from another plane searching for an host for It's essence to bring chaos to the world.
Finally, the concept of white eyes being connected to divinity has been around since Herobrine appeared. Since Herobrine is canonically Notch's brother and Notch is kinda a divine figure in Minecraft it only makes sense.
... In short it seems eyes are in some way connected to divinity. Eyes are doors to the souls so what does it mean if you're something as big and vast as a god? Glowing eyes, Big eyes, countless eyes.
Let's make a little aside here, something I won't put down in drawing. And that's Sausage... This man has a very very weird connection to divinity for someone who's not a god. He was there when Pearl died and ascended, in Afterlife he was an angel that worked for Pearl, in Empires 2 he started the church of Saint Pearl and he was the one the gods were fighting over and he literally had a child with god!Joel. In Bannerfall he was working for the goddess of death and then died while helping the pretender god that is the creaking king. Then he was the one to first call mr.Madsky sun god, one of the first to call out Graecie's weird cult, the only one who seems to canonically know of sun god as a god on The Flight Smp and the other players consider him insane whenever he talks about it. He seems to be very aware of "lore" a concept that is extremely meta and that on Empires 2 was implied by Joel as something divine in nature that he specifically could wield as a god. He also has weird multiverse stuff going on which includes his Empires 1 self that was kinda corrupted by the god Exor's influence and sun god Bdubs and he seems to be aware of watchers and that side of the lore as he references them when finding the sword called "the watcher" in that fantasy smp server and when seeing the eye ritual on the Flight....
Ok but to regular program.
Now that we've analysed eyes completely let's look at The Sun, The Moon and The Stars individually.
The Sun.
First the connections I already described: With Bdubs the sun god, with Grian whose name means sun, with Gem who ruled Dawn and created the church of the sun, to the void/space as it is where the sun is. I will avoid the Moon and stars as connections since they are obvious.
Pearlescentmoon that was associated with sun flowers and was involved in a god competition with Bdubs.
There is then Mr.Madspy who is the one called sun god/sun guard, tf!Sausage who is the sun mage and in general The Flight Smp which takes place in The Sun Empire/The Kingdom of Eternal Summer. (Both names have been used).
And Sausage of course was the man who both venerated Bdubs and Pearl, as well as the one who created the church of Saint Pearl.
Then let's also add two symbols Eyes as we have seen before already and Light for obvious reasons. Then from Light let's add Angrec, the goddess of Light.
There are also connections through the creakings. After all creakings disappear when the sun rises and eye blossoms close up at the same time. There are also things like the previously mentioned sunflowers and daylight detectors who have closed associations to the sun.
Also, the sun has connection to mobs as they can't spawn when light is present and skeletons and zombies both will die when under the sun. Specifically the sun has the power to burn mobs and therefore has a strong connection to fire which was kinda obvious since the sun is generally considered to be very very hot. It seems thought that the undead specifically are the ones effected, like the sun has a natural opposition to undeath. In Vampires Smp tier 3 vampires all were debuff when standing in sunlight... The sun and fire specifically seem associated to holyness and therefore divinity once more. The undead are burned by the sun, the vampires are weakened by the sun and driven out by fire, Louis was burnt on a pyre and in Afterlife SMP the angels were glowing golden figures of light.
... Plus, when putting together undeath and fire there is one person that comes to mind.
Another thing to mention is the connection between the Nether and The Sun: Both connected to fire and heat, when Bdubs is in his sun god form his coat has the glowstone texture, daylight sensors are made with quartz and it is with wither skulls that you can get nether stars and beacons...
Which then also connects back to divinity as vsmp had their own brand of holy beacons that looked like normal beacons... And the nether itself is connected to divinity trough the Blaze Empress and Dianite and Exor which are gods with strong associations with it.
There is also another connection to consider between Bdubs, The sun and Eyes. Was it not Bdubs first law as the god of the sun that people should always wear sunglasses?
Then the End and the Nether are connected both for being different dimensions and for their connection to obsidian which is the material necessary for creating nether portals and is also found in the main End island.
And finally... New Life Shelby was the sun girl as one of her lives.
The Stars
First is Scott for reasons I've already described AND his Origin Smp as a Starborn. There's The End whose portal's texture is one of many stars. Then there is the void, both for It's connection to space and It's connection to The End.
There is also Grian who connects with basically all of the previously mentioned for reasons already explained before.
Then there is Light, The Nether Star and The beacons. There is also the fallen star which looks like a dimmed down nether star and can be used for the eye ritual in The Flight and for another ritual used to create actual wither stars.
Then there is connections to magic. Both Bertha and Shelby in Witchcraft had stars in their design, in Bannerfall the goddess of magic has her horns shaped in both a star shape and a moon shape and her clothes are covered in constellations, Grian's magic alley had a sky of stars, Illagers have dots in their texture which are probably also stars, Rendog the wizard has sparking stars around his magical tome and the language known as "galactic" whose name comes from the word galaxy is the one that appears in enchanting tables.
...
I don't think however that magic is necessarily of the stars. I think they are connected to eachother trough their shared connection to the End and the Void and possibly dimensional energy of some kind.
Galactic is not only a connection to stars but also one to space. Teleportation and levitation are magics necessarily connected to the end as It's only they who pratice it. Dragon breath is a potion ingredient. Enchanting tables are made of obsidian, so are portals and the texture of the dragon egg and so are the towers of the end. In the end are end crystals crystals with glowing runes on them which can only be placed on bedrock (the block that separates the world from the void) and obsidian and which float above said obsidian the same way book do on enchanting tables.
Or at least Arcane magic is. According to Rens lore all magic can be divided into: Arcane, Wild and Abyssal. Now this can't be perfectly accurate as none of those include the innate magics that various origins have nor the innate magic dragon riders have...but any kind of learned magic does fit. Arcane is stuff like potions and enchanting and portals and spells and rituals and magical machinery, Wild is the magic that comes from flowers and mushrooms and storms and winds and ice and water and earth and sky and nature as a whole ... Abyssal as he so described is the magic of "fire and death". Now with Wild magic being so obviously of the overworld and Abyssal magic being almost definitely of the Nether...it only makes sense for Arcane magic to be of the end.
There's also something to be said about runes. Galactic, the runes on the emd crystals and the runes Ren is using for his magic lore are all different... but they have also a lot of similiarities and It's almost like there may be multiple languages of rune that can work for magic.
And of course the fact dragons can activate innate magic in the Flight is interesting with The End connection... speaking of the Flight SMP. Zam, the star mage, whose species is called a Stella which is a name that literally means star.
Then there is again the connection to the Nether. Obsidian to reach it, blaze rods to craft the eye of ender, ghast tears and eyes of ender to craft end crystals, dragon breath and glowstone being both potion ingredients, clocks and beds both not working correctly... And from The Nether is Glowstone and surprise surprise It's Bdubs again. Bdubs that of course also made the "star gazers" shop in season 7... You'll find he finds a way to get into every celestial object... Also might as well add Geminitay since she's named after a literal constellation/Star sign (Gemini).
The Moon
Let's start with the easy:
Pearlescentmoon who is named after the moon, who was chosen as the winner with the moon as their symbol by fandom, as the one who claimed the s8 moon to be their cousin, as the one whose teammates wore a moon on their skin after she died and as one of the members of the mooners.
There are Mumbo and Grian who were the first members of the mooners. Also? Mumbo is the moon big?
(I won't put it in the scheme but the theme of fire as something destroying the unholy appears again here, the mooners were supposed to burn the beds that so angered the moon)
There is Bdubs, the one who was most antithetical to the mooners as they were trying to stop people from sleeping...but that in that same season made his starter base a moon.
Then again is the Void/Space for obvious reasons already explained... And the End too! While working on this post I checked Tango's s8 finale and in that video too the moon's surface was made of endstone. So that's at least two references to the moon being made of endstone. Three if you count Lunar Phase SMP happening on a land covered in endstone.
And the mage goddess again who also prominently has her horns shaped like a crescent.
Also the moon connects to Light, shocking I know. And daylight sensors because of their moonlight mode.
There is a specific variation of moon that seems to have It's own implications, the red moon.
It connects to Pearl's victory, she became 5AM Pearl and went with a red skin while green. This skin has then be called the Scarlet Pearl and in Secret Life Grian shouted that the red moon was coming when Pearl went red.
Then there's Vampires Smp where the moon being red was considered an important thing to have. Like the moon was in some way reacting to the vampires... And looking into how minecraft works you start to realize the connection runs deep. Different phases of the moon increase mob spawn, specifically the fuller the moon the stronger mobs are.
There is also the blood moon, a mod that has appeared in multiple SMP's over the years. Including Mianite s2 as the first thing that comes to mind. This mod makes it so during a blood moon mobs are stronger and the night is longer. Basically a buffed up version of the effects of the regular moon.
So I wonder. If the moon strenghtens mobs and the undead, and fire is something that purifies and destroys those creatures... Is there something there with Pearlescentmoon being a firefighter and living next to the undead Cleo? ... Probably not but it's interesting to think about.
And It's not just undead mobs that are connected to the moon. In Tango's Hermitcraft 8's finale we see that moon killer bunnies too seem to be connected to it... As they live on it?? Also in that same episode Tango found a cow on the moon and in the april fools update that added being able to land on the moon had it populated with cows... Also wolves have strong connection to the moon, especially werewolves and Pearl has strong connections trough both mostly because of Tilly and the fact that in Vampires she was werewolfed...
...Which means Renthedog is also associated with the moon...is the red winter king just Ren's version of the Scarlet Pearl? The red moon version?
Also the Watchers are directly connected to the moon, that's the vessel they used to talk to Martyn trough. Between the meteor, Grian being the sun and speaking trough the moon they are starting to stack the celestial associations...
Then there are cats too, specifically black cats, as they can only appear in villages when the moon is at full. They also spawn in witch huts which means the moon is connected to witchcraft too...shocker... We knew that ever since the mage goddess had her horns like that.
Then there's Lunar Phase SMP.... I won't elaborate on that, I don't think I need to explain why they might connect... and Lunar SMP is played in a map that has endstone instead of earth... Amd there's also The Problem, primordial of spite and resident of the server.
Then there's the Flight SMP. The Double Soul ritual book called talked about the Moon forgetting It's shadow (The full moon?) and the ritual Bubbles performed required Moon soul dust. Both of these seem to imply a connection between souls and the moon... Ehich is interesting.
Bubbles own Moonclaw spell which is described as claws as bright as moonlight is also relevant as It's again a connection between cats and The Moon. Then there's their predecessor book describing the old cat mage as walking trough moonlight halls, of silvery steps and of moonlight spells and finally dying and leaving behind a black cat.
Finally last for this first part:
The Void/Space
First, again why do I consider the two concept to be the same?
One, they both serve the same purpose. Space divides planets and moonnamd stars, The void divides the planes of End, Overworld and Nether.
Two, they are the same. Vast spaces that are dark and completely empty and they both are dangerous to humans because of that.
Three, in season 8 the Boatem crew had to put suits akin to astronaut suits to survive in it.
Four, if you've ever been in a skyblock you'll know that the sun and moon and stars travel trough the void. Knowing both sun and moon exist in some form of space then that space must be the same as the void.
Five, even if they were technically different they are pratically the same because of the previous reasons and many of their connections connect to both of them...
Let's talk of the connections... The End, The Watchers, Grian, Bedrock and Galactic come first. Then all the associations that can be assigned to them.
Gem who calls herself a celestial and was claimed by the void in Secret Life.
Xisumavoid... for obvious reasons.
The Corruption which appears into the sky in the space of celestial objects.
And the Sun, Moon and Stars as we have already discussed.
Then there is Light. The void is where the celestial objects lie, in the End it also glows purple at regular intervals.
There is also Darkness. The void is endless and pitch black, falling in it is like falling into a pitch black room.
There's Ldshadowlady who fell into the void in Secret Life and who wielded shadows in Wild Life.
There's the World Historian from Mianite, the god that seems to find himself representing the the triple point between Death, Darkness and Emptyness.
There's also Lukey the mage of void, whose book describes his magic as dark but separate from actual Darkness and Shadow. Describing it more as emptyness instead. So the void is dark but not darkness itself, It's simply empty. And It's not even always dark, the white void made by using white maps in a room is also called "the Void" despite being so bright.
Then the Flight also gives Boa the Shadow mage, Ashwag the Darkness mage and Michela the Eclipse mage.
Also Lukey's book about the previous mage said that they ended up being erased from reality and being forgotten... so the Void is also connected to memory amd existance. Amd is that not what happened after the corrupted rituals too? The people responsible for a while were erased from everyone's knowledge? ... Very Gastery vibes here.
So what we have is a primordial emptyness which is on some way alive enough to observe you, which comes in both Light and Dark without being either, which has a connection to magic and the arcane field specifically, which is able to erase you from memory if misused.
The void appears in Mystreet as a borderline malevolent and hungry force trying to consume the universe, very similiar to how Darkness seems to be in the Mianite series. This corruptive force is capable of leaving burns... Black burns with random purple pixels... Like Ashwag has.
The void appears in Parkour civilization technically and in many skyblock series across all of mcyt... because It's skyblock, by definition It's in the void. I wouldn't put too much weight into this.
The void kinda appears in sfawtde and dawtde but it's not relevant to the story until the very end... Though maybe there's something that could be said about how even divinity is not able to really do anything about the void. Lady Irene could not force the void away, the main three Mianite gods struggled against the Darkness and The King Yellow can no longer reach Avery after he's pushed in the void.
In the Dsmp the void was relevant when it was Tommy's Limbo but that version of Limbo was different for each soul residing in it... Meaning It's not relevant to the void as an actual force.
Evil X is somewhat important to Hermitcraft but his connection to the void is from being Xisumavoid's evil other self.
And that's all for part 1.
In part 2 we'll look at Death, the afterlives, the concept of demonic and holy in a multiverse of many gods and goddesses.
In Part 3: We'll then take a look at connections with the elements and the concepts each element seem connected to.
In Part 4: Continuation to the elements, there's a lot there.
In Part 5: Any corrections and additions suggested by you guys.

I will forever stand by Grian loving being a watcher... Or at the very least having mixed feelings where some of those feelings are very positive.
That man joined them willingly and had so much fun with it (canon btw), created the life series and has the biggest widest smile while talking about making it and how excited he is for everyone to see what he has planned and now this whole thing with him on Hermitcraft saying "What I've always wanted to do, to watch" as his eyes literally sparkled.
I refuse to believe anything else, whatever weird angst Martyn has hallucinated there is either the most cracky misunderstanding in history or active misdirection by the watchers to fuck with him. Which... could be either really.
if you manage to get the 8 notes left to get it to 500 in less then ten minutes I'll post part 1 rn otherwise you'll have to wait like 16 hours for it.
