"I just know she's gonna love this", Ryan scoffed as he was wiping the table. He was preparing a date for his girlfriend Amy. They have been together for 5 years and have reached a milestone. They were finally able to buy their own restaurant. He was working on this date for an hour when the door suddenly squeaked.
There she was, as beautiful as ever, with her red hair flowing down her chest. As always, Ryan was mesmerized by her beauty whenever he saw her, and he never once grew tired of her. She was soft-spoken, bright, and comforting for Ryan. She was the girl of his dreams. Ever since they got together, Ryan promised himself that he's not gonna leave her. She wasn't like the other girls. They both wanted to be chefs, and both had dreamt of being together, whether working in a restaurant or starting their own.
Now, after 5 years of relationship building and obstacles, they are now here standing upon the restaurant. "Hey Amy, come on here sit down."
However, Amy didn't move; she was just standing there, staring at him. "Hey, What's wrong baby?". In just a few second the door opened again, and entered a tall man. "Who is this, Amy?". Amy sighed a huge breath. "I'm sorry Ryan, I'm ending this relationship"
"What?!WHY?!" Amy looked at the tall man "His name is Henry, I just don't think I would be better with you. You can have this restaurant, I'll wire you my share of this place. Honestly, you can do much better than me" .
Tears flowed down Ryan's face. He kept himself from falling to his knees. "No, Amy, Please don't do this! I love you!". Amy looked abit sceptical but proceeded to go for the door. Just as she was about to leave "Amy". She turned around for the last time. "You know what, Why don't we make a bet? If in 5 years, you and me are still single, we get married." "Ryan please.." Amy pleaded. "Come on, let's do it, we have nothing to lose. In fact, let's do it right now.
Ryan hurriedly got a paper and pen from the shelf and wrote down a contract. "Here, let's sign this, together". Amy made a shameful face, and hesitated quite a bit from signing, although she eventually did.
After that, Amy left the restaurant with Henry, leaving Ryan all alone.
Ryan fell to the ground after what happened. He cried and grasped his palms " Amy, I will not lose this bet" He stood up and smiled. He knows that he will get his Amy back once again.
"Hey girl, I heard we are getting a new executive chef today." "Really, Omg, I heard that, that new chef is famous and incredibly rich ." The cooks exclaimed in the Kitchen. Then, a girl with red hair enters inside, and the cooks look at her with immense shock.
"Amy!" You're late again!", Come one here, make yourself useful and cut up these onions. ". " Yes, Maam," Amy lowered her voice. Chop Chop Chop, the smell of onions burning her eyes. While she was doing all the work, the cooks are slacking around the kitchen doing nothing. She wished this hell would stop and she would finally be promoted to sous Chef.
"AHHHH" The cook Alex, screeched "Oh My Fucking Gosh, this is our new Chef, he uploaded a video right now!" The other cooks hurriedly looked at Alex's phone. "Oh he is hot! Chef daddy!", "I would love for him to just order me around. God!". Amy stopped herself from laughing endlessly. She was busy chopping onions and couldn't care less of who the new chef is.
The cooks ware still watching the live when she finished chopping. Just when she approached them to see a glimpse of the new chef. A familiar face would soon enter the door.
