Technology is wonderful and has enabled a level of connectivity never seen before. However, it has also fostered vices that were previously unseen—such as criticizing, simply for the sake of it, anything that does not align with one's own opinions.
It is so easy to hide behind a screen, miles away, spewing venom onto the web—for reasons known only to the person doing it. But that is a minor detail. Communities centered on specific topics often include members who seem to live solely to cruelly criticize others for their opinions, tastes, or views. This drives newcomers away, as they find these communities more toxic than Chernobyl. May you never fall victim to such cruelty when you are at your most vulnerable.
La tecnología es maravillosa y nos ha permitido un grado de conectividad nunca antes visto. Sin embargo, también ha propiciado vicios que antes no se veían.
Cómo criticar solo por el placer de hacerlo, todo lo que no concuerda con sus opiniones. Es tan fácil esconderse detrás de una pantalla, a kilómetros de distancia dejando correr en la web su veneno, a saber por qué razón. Pero eso es lo de menos.

Produciendo que los nuevos se retiren de tales comunidades por considerarlas más tóxicas que Chernobyl. Ojalá jamás sean víctimas de esa crueldad en su punto más frágil.
