i'm really curious... do you have any headcanons on illagers and how they're raised? You've talked a little bit about villagers but i'm really curious about your thoughts on the other side of the coin.

In my AU Illager children are raised in a specialised boot camp hidden somewhere deep in the dark oak forest (Steve has never, and will never, find it. But they have thought about it).

They’re taught the ways of their society, survival skills and how to fight. And when they’re ready and grown up, they’re sent to their tribe's Mansion where they’re allocated an outpost, or given the rare honour of becoming a Vindicator.

Johnny became a Vindicator straight away. Polly and Vinny became Pillagers, and Vinny later rose the ranks to become a Vind as well.
