You may call me Ven. I am a mammal native to the southern highlands of "north america" and a chaparral/CSS ecologist by trade. This is my main blog, and in it you will find a variety of posts concerning topics that interest me. My art can also be found here. BYF+ FAQ is recommended reading.
Expect politically and philosophically inclined posts. Due in part to the intersection of my identity, I am very opinionated. Don't be surprised when an Indigenous anarchist brings up That Sort of Thing.
As far as fandom goes, these days I am most likely to blog about Homestuck, Game of Thrones, Dune, Star Wars, Dragon Age, Hannibal, Succession, and furry fandom.
You may also be privy to my musings on ecology, anthropology, ethnobotany, nutrition, theology, psychonautics, dreams, and digital ethnography.
I am perhaps best known for my Eridan posts. I've been at this for a very long time. I do not expect most people to understand my affliction, nor do I anticipate explaining it in detail on this blog. I am tentatively open to further discussion with other current or former prominent Eridan blogs. Follow my darling @eridan.
I’ve been here and there under different usernames since ~2011. Once in a while I rediscover old friends from years ago, so if you think you recognize me, let's talk. I used to frequent WCRPG/Feralfront/Xanje, Chatlands, Wolfhaven, Wolfquest, Secondhand Lands, Whirled, furry oriented Facebook groups, and Drawception, among others.
