Jessie Everson, another artist I've been following for a bit on insta!! He just opened up his own etsy shop for some of his designs, and while I don't use Etsy a lot, ik how much good reviews and sales factor into the algorithm or whatever that helps genuine sellers stand out from dropshippers (and unfortunately, there are quite a few AI-generated "formline" pieces by dropshippers that float to the top when you keyword search the artstyle)

So consider buying a sticker or two from him and leaving a five star review to help him get a footing on Etsy- I'm sure he'll appreciate it!!

sorry but i think this is a bit silly. it's just a fear, right? there is no evidence here? to be clear, i'm approaching this from an out-of-universe perspective - it feels like the showrunners kept him big to basically add him as a living monument on the battle 7 bridge. you mean he doesn't get to interact on an equal level with the culture he felt such fascination and appreciation for? nonsense!

Tumblr didn’t show me this till now, but, god, you’ve read my mind. It’s such wasted characterization, especially when they don’t act like they know each other that well—he didn’t appear to recognize Mylene at first.

At least in the Delta movie, Absolute Live, when he appears with Foxy Grandpa Max, he does say, “We have known each other a long time….” before Max goes to fly again.

I used to go for the explanation printed here, and the implications of it fuelled my notion that Neo-Exsedol was some kind of tragedy, but these days I think that note is a leftover from when Macross was more concerned with creating a singular coherent timeline after the fact, just like with declaring Macross II non-canon. Now it just does whatever, though as always Exsedol is the only radical change, followed by Britai.—Thankfully they brought them back for the Fever pachinko.

The smoking gun was the one episode of Macross Frontier where some isolated male Zentradi showed up, who happened to include a Neo-Exsedol-type advisor. If that was a norm, then so was Neo-Exsedol. “Fleet of the Strongest Women” also discussed Space War 1 and included Neo-Exsedol and Neo-Britai in the flashback so maybe I’m just slow on the uptake.

And yeah—I don’t slam animators for being unable to keep sizes consistent but it is funny how large Neo-Exsedol often is compared to listed Zentradi heights and would be Micloned, just like how Milia is smaller than every male Zentradi when I pictured her of Amazonian stature.
