THEY KILLED HIM, AGAIN
I absolutely love how weirdly specific the notes are about these random concept art characters, it’s pretty funny and kinda makes them feel more real. Like why do I actually care about some of these guys like they’re someone’s ocs or something (which they technically are ig)
Also that “wakes up at 6pm and goes to bed at 9am” inkling is literally me I’m ngl
We need to bring back "NIMBY" as an insult. At least in MY mid-sized American city, waaaaay too many self-proclaimed leftists and hippies rabidly oppose any new development while simultaneously whining non-stop about the cost of housing. Anyone who says their city is "full" has politics indistinguishable from a straight-up Republican.

Game Reviews: Severed
There were so many touch screen games in the early days of the original DS that were pretty lousy. You can probably name a few, either games built around the touch screen that implemented it badly, or games that shouldn't have been touch screen controls that had it forced onto it (Looking at you, Scribblenauts).
Severed feels like a throwback to those games, except with controls that are excellent. The slashing attacks require you to be precise but also quick, because you're rewarded with precious materials from attacking efficiently. You have to pick angles, you have to have proper timing (both to attack and block attacks), and you have to be smart about which enemies you attack and when. It's an elegant juggling act that feels good to master.
The puzzles and exploration are fine. Nothing dramatically challenging in those aspects. The focus is clearly on the combat, but the story has just enough going for it to tug at your heartstrings by the end. I'm a sucker for watching characters physically change over the course of a game, so seeing Sasha have a different look every time you pass the mirror in the house is a great experience. It's a short game too, you can probably finish it in a weekend. It feels like a game best suited to a stylus on the 3DS, but I'm sure it plays fine on a finger-based touch screen.
8 outta 10
Today's Card Is: Cupsy ☆ Yummy
I'm fucking obsessed with Cupsy☆Yummy. I love the rules text that has to say "Cupsy☆Yummy" every single time
we justifiably give Biden a lot of shit but I think "at least 3" is the funniest possible response to some right wing dipshit asking you how many genders there are
wait it gets better
I just got described as an "ad hating commie" by someone because I said a minute of youtube ads is unpleasant. fully spent 5 minutes arguing and defending youtube ads. insane stuff
reblog if you are an ad hating commie

I feel like a lot of people get "All Art is Political" confused with "All Art is made with Political Intentions" which is not the same.

In 2026, the chicest thing a gay actor can do is never explicitly come out as gay but also make it abundantly clear that he is. Coming out is too modern. Staying closeted is too old fashioned. But this method merges contemporary freedom with Old Hollywood glamour and allure, and it weeds out the dumbest people who truly don’t get it. I call it the Pascal Method.
Taylor Swift does this
no she doesn’t
You clearly don't go here or to queer history and signaling, or both, enough to have this conversation and I'm not going to explain it to you. You could have asked questions, you could have done even a modicum of research. You didn't and you made yourself look ignorant. Goodbye.
I'm imagining a world where RPGMaker somehow made it as the de facto codebase for software and you have to navigate your banking app by walking around in a huge room full of NPCs named "make deposit" and "make withdrawal" etc and there's loud as fuck stock music playing
I was gonna joke they should ban pjackk again as a bit, but they went and did it the bastards.

Honestly, Tvyek is pretty miraculous. It’s permeable to water vapor but not to water, it’s nearly impossible to tear, but can be easily cut. It’s cheap and made entirely without binding chemicals. In addition to being used for wristbands, it’s used to wrap construction sites to keep out water during construction, for tear-resistant envelopes at Fed-Ex, coveralls for mechanics, and my wallet, actually.
Fun tip, though it looks like paper, Tyvek is plastic, and cannot be recycled with paper.
holy fuc
I didn’t even know it had a name
Trying to explore downtown Boston in fallout 4 will very often make reality freeze and crash due to the amount of stuff squeezed into the tiny area. I cannot confidently speak on the frequency this happens in real life Boston because I’ve never been there.
