Hello, everyone! ShadowRose (Head Mod) here with an announcement: Effective immediately, we will no longer posting on the zine's bluesky account.
When I went to check it just now, I was given the notification that due to a new law in Texas, bluesky is now legally required to force me to hand over my government ID to verfiy my age if I want to access the zine account as well as my own personal account and there is no way in hell I'm handing over my ID.
But don't worry: We still have our tumblr here and instagram which remain unaffected! So if you follow us on either of those places, you're good! But if you know anybody who follows us on bluesky, please let them know why we stopped posting!

very telling that even if you’re not allowed to view content related to self harm/suicide/eating disorders due to not giving up your ID on the uk internet you will still be shown relentless ads for weight loss drugs and fad diets showing unrealistic/AI generated bodies and unhealthy methods and time frames for weight loss that can only be achieved by starvation. oh and also so so many gambling ads. relentless ads for gacha and gambling services. almost like it’s not actually about protecting kids at all or something

On Saturday I said to my partner, as I have said for months, "A ten thousand dollar a year raise would solve so many of my problems."
As of this morning I was reluctantly looking for jobs because I love my job and don't want to leave it, but see: $10k raise problem solver.
As of noon today this was no longer an issue, because my boss called me with the news that I was getting a $10K merit raise.
I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. This is roughly $200 extra per paycheck. Enough to pay off debt faster, rebuild my savings, and spend a weekend a month in Milwaukee getting obscenely laid. The sex I'm going to have on $200 extra per paycheck. You can't even.
May all of you get the $10K raise your soul has yearned for. And whatever level of sex you can be satisfied with for $200.
