seeing so many ppl defend batman #11 with their LIFE is crazy to me. i just saw a tiktok of someone saying “nooooo you guys don’t get it! obviously bruce was just lying to make an excuse as to why he lets damian be robin! he doesn’t actually mean what he said! it’s not racist”. how stupid do you have to be truly. even if you think fraction had no bad intentions it doesn’t take a genius to look at that page and realize the optics are not good. bruce didn’t have to say talia “threw damian in his lap and ran away laughing” or compare his son to a bomb in order to convince his new gf that it’s ok for damian to be robin.
