Hello everyone and welcome to the blog for Rickyl Week!

My name is Mick (@corrodedghosts) and I will be your host for this event! As we get closer to the week, I will be creating the post for prompts as well as the rules! Please note that this event is 18+ due to possible NSFW themes. While the event is not slated to have NSFW prompts, that doesn't mean that you can't write smut!

Now some things to address:

When is Rickyl Week? June 14th-20th

Who can participate? Writers, artists, editors, anybody who has an eye for creativity! You are all welcomed to join!

How many prompts will there be? Two a day for the total of twelve! Each day barring Saturday will have two prompts ranging from fluff to angst. Saturday will be a free day for you to choose a prompt that you didn't get to write for in the previous days!

Where will Rickyl Week be posted? On Ao3 and Tumblr! I am debating on whether or not to bring the week to twitter but we shall see how things go in the upcoming months!

How should we tag our works? On Ao3 I will create a collection under the name Rickyl Week 2026! On Tumblr please use the hashtag #RickylWeek26

Do we have to participate in each day? Nope! I understand that life is busy and hectic, so even if you can only do one day, we will still love whatever you decide to create!

What do you mean that person watched a 1994 movie on Christmas break and is now watching 1st season of SG-1 and they just made a gifset if that moment we all know and love... Yes, a dozen gifsets of this exact same moment was made over the decade and a half with few thousand notes, but do you understand? Do you understand that they saw it for the very first time in their life and got so inspired they spent hours on making a gifset and brought it here to go LOOK AT THIS! IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL! I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS! DO YOU?!!!

That they met our beloved characters for the very first time and already fell IN LOVE and want more than the show gives them, so they opened a word doc and started writing, even if just for themselves, but maybe others share their vision? So they post it tentatively, and we get to read a brand new story in a three dacade old fandom!

That they watched that episode we all know for the very first time, and like us, they have QUESTIONS. And they get on here and start rambling, and maybe they echo same things we've been debating for decades, or maybe they write a completely new take none of us even thought of?

That the humour in the show is so contagious, that can't help to make their own jokes, some clever, some crack, some cringe, some all of the above, and we get a brand new person we can laugh together with till we are out of breath?

That the characters that have been living rent free in our heads for years just moved into brand new real estate, and maybe it's for a short term, or maybe for life...

However long we'll have you, new fan, you are welcome, you are appreciated, and buckle up!

This scrotum wrinkle literally ragequit the shows he was running because he hated that women were giving him a paycheck. Newer fans weren't around to know, but we lived all of this. We unfortunately could not escape him in our own Stargate forums and chatrooms because his narcissistic ass craved attention and wouldn't leave. We had to read interviews and press releases where he'd smugly gloat that Sam was more feminine and the show would be better with Daniel gone (then Janet gone).

Jensen: “I went in [the hole] pretty quick-”

Jared: “Like you always do.”

THIS NONVERBAL CONVERSATION BETWEEN THE JS THAT IS THE MOST UNSUBTLE THING IN EXISTENCE:

Number 2-

Jensen (about Vaseline): “You never know when you might need to get out of a tight situation.”

Jared: “-or into a tight…” *AHEM* (ass)

Jensen:

Jensen: *talks about going in the hole*

Jared: *has too many vivid imaginings to be able to control himself*

Jensen: *SMIRKS AND NODS AND STARES SEXILY AT JARED*

Jared (leaning in to insinuate this directly into Jensen’s ear): “Sam would definitely be a tight end…” tehehe giggle giggle flirt flirt

Jensen: *tries SO HARD not to react and fails miserably, much to Jared’s dirty delight*

Number 5-

Jared (about Jensen): “He only bites once or twice…” smirky smirky flirty

Jensen (who definitely bites a lot more than that, and we all know it):

Number 6-

Jared: *reveals the fact that he sleeps naked*

Jensen: *tries to act like this is new information to him*

Jared: *ruins that immediately by calling Jensen out on his bullshit*

“You knew that!”

Jensen:

(also Jensen: listen…I try, okay? But what the hell can I do when he’s just out here telling the whole world that I know he sleeps in the nude?? Also, it’s definitely NOT because I make him. He is his own man. So just…shhhh…)

Number 7-

Jensen: *while trying to talk about props inside pants* “-and there was this huge-”

Jared: *instantaneously loses all chill*

(also Jared: the fatal error, Jensen, just so you know, was that while the topic was the inside of your pants, you chose to then bring up the huuuuge thing inside your pants…and don’t you know by now that I cannot publicly handle that kind of mental image?? So…this was your fault…)

Jensen (who definitely knows exactly what he did and loves every second of it): *MORE BLATANT SMIRKING AND STARING AND FLIRTING AND NECESSARY TOUCHING*
