Lol, I remember that Lana person wrote some stupid stuff about how to fix Supernatural by making Dean and Astiel a couple and turning Sam evil. Now they've posted that fic and I can see what they've written, and it's only four fics that show they know nothing about Supernatural beyond what's been created in the fanon, like John beating Dean daily (something that's been debunked in the series' canon), using him as a bait, and him being harassed by older men (a disgusting thing they always use to victimize Dean, but they also fantasize about it because they're obsessed with the character's sexuality and think it makes his bisexuality believable, which is completely homophobic). And above all, a morbid obsession with Sam, whom they see as an obstacle and someone who is victimizing Dean and preventing him from coming out. Because of this, they fantasize about Dean and Asstiel having a relationship and doing all sorts of things together behind Sam's back.
And there are so many like that in the Destew fandom, people who don't even realize they're stealing Sam and Dean's storylines because they subconsciously know that those are the truly powerful ones, the ones that have parallels with romance and devotion. They hate Sam because they know that the bond between him and Dean is absolute and transcends everything, including Asstiel. They focus entirely on bastardizing Dean's character because they're obsessed not only with his physical appearance but with turning him into something completely different from what he is canonically because they simply can't stand him.
You're right, anon it's why they hate John and Sam so much. John, because he was "beating the gay" out of Dean on a daily basis, and Sam, because he stood in the way. These people have a strange sense of who these characters were. I don't think hardly any of them ever watched it, or else they wouldn't bastardize Dean to death and turn Sam evil. Imagine thinking being harassed by older men, as if he ever would allow that, makes one bisexual? What a gross mindset they have.
