no, we aren’t reducing anyone to anything by saying that women are female. femaleness is the one quality or characteristic uniting all women. every woman has humanity outside of their femaleness, likes, dislikes, beliefs, values, an entire personhood separate from their sex. but their female sex is the one quality that makes them a woman. kind of like if you are deaf, yes you have an entire personhood separate from your inability to hear, and i’m sure you have a lot going on in life besides that, but that one quality, the inability to hear, is what makes you a deaf person, and not a hearing person. if we say that Asian people are primarily of Asian ethnic origin, we aren’t reducing all Asian people down to their ethnicity, we know that they are full humans with an entire personhood regardless of their race, but their racial origin is what makes them fall into the Asian category of person rather than the Black or Hispanic category for example. we aren’t saying that women, as people, are nothing more than their ability to reproduce, we are categorizing women as a type of person of a certain sex.
no, men were not instrumental in feminist movements, but let’s say they were. so what? that does not beholden us to forever capitulating to their every bizarre assertion or ideological position. if flat earthers were instrumental in helping to create the disability justice movement, wow how sweet of them, does that make the earth fucking flat though? if men claiming to be women really helped created feminism (they didn’t) wow how sweet of them, men still aren’t women though.
if women are a mixed-sex group, then what is the one commonality that all women share that cause you to group them together using the word "women"?
and misogynistic men are already well-aware that women exist who are infertile, or have other reproductive medical issues that cause them to not be able to be pregnant. everyone on earth fucking knows that there are women who can't get pregnant or give birth. if misogynists still choose to only value women for their procreative abilities, surprise, it's because they are intentionally choosing to be misogynistic! telling them, "actually it's wrong to reduce women to their reproductive abilities, because some women can't get pregnant, because they're men in dresses!" will not cause some grand feminist revelation.
in the patriarchy, males are the patriarch. males are not women. this fact does not reduce anyone to anything. I don't have a shrink-ray, my factual statements couldn't reduce your big ass man self even if I wanted them to. remove your head from your ass please. you're so far up there you seem to have forgotten that women are oppressed on the basis of being female, and that we started our own liberation movements without help from men, but even if men did help, it doesn't make them women.
