one thing about Killing Joke which I already kind of knew but this documentary is solidifying for me is that these guys are and have always been kooks. However. Not every post punk band can be Gang of Four and I think for his contributions to music and the Culture, Jaz Coleman has earned being a little bit of a chemtrails crank if he wants to
the fact that his mum is so supportive... she said "John Peel said my son's band is a Good Band"
Completely understandable that it didn't ever happen but I do kinda wish the band had ever had, like, a Straight Man who was not on all the mysticism bullshit who could attest at all what was actually going on in any of these anecdotes when the rest of them were probably just blasted off LSD or whatever. Like yeah listening to the music I absolutely believe all four of you believe that you literally activated a ley grid at a show once and saw god walk through and you levitated up a glacier in Iceland or whatever. I do not believe anything actually happened, but I do believe you believe you experienced that, how else could you sound like that
David Grohl's just a garden variety woo-woo moron though. no salvaging that one
