Frankly I think a lot of Tumblr users think there is no overlap between trans women and gay men like there is between trans men and lesbians 1. because RuPaul did a great job intentionally convincing at least two generations of baby queers that gay men and trans women don't share culture because he's a transmisogynist piece of shit who intentionally kept trans women off Drag Race for years - shattering the perception of our community overlap in the eyes of the mainstream, 1.5. and that culture he cultivated in the mainstream made you afraid of drag as an art so you're uncurious about it, and 2. you're afraid of learning about balls because they're not sanitized white queer culture.

being able to recognize when a human (ie. you or another person) is so stressed out they cannot think clearly is VERY important for conflict resolution and diffusing emotional crisis. highly recommend trying to train yourself at being able to recognize that state of panic- there is a point in which logic and rationality is useless and you have to address the underlying emotional issue first. knowing that saves everyone a lot of pain and struggle.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but do not ever, ever, ever let someone guilt you into not transitioning. "But you're so pretty! You'll ruin your lovely body!" "But you're my [son/daughter/boyfriend/girlfriend/mom/dad/etc.]; I can't see you any other way!" "But we need more [badass butch lesbians/women in STEM/etc.] to show women that they can do anything!" "But we need good men like you to promote healthy masculinity!" <- None of these are reasons not to transition. Transition is for you, not for others. Other peoples' indignation or sadness over your transition is not your burden to bear, and other peoples' expectations for you are not moral obligations you must fulfill. Do not live to fit inside a prescribed role in somebody else's life. You must live for yourself. Please transition.

undertale in isolation is such a well-structured self-contained unit. one game you can play in a day, and then you play it again, and then again until you've seen it all, or until you don't consider it just a game any more in which case you leave it at its happiest ending. the build-up to the revealings of alphys and undyne and asgore. sans' presence across the map, or lack thereof. flowey. the coffin with your name on it. it's just very neat and tidy
completely unrelated but one of my favorite fridge genius jokes in undertale is alphys saying "what if someone's vegan?" and mettaton instantly accepting it even though the cake already contains milk and eggs

That is a much higher voteshare to Binface than we expected, and much lower to both Reclaim and British Democratic Party, lol.
All round, though, it doesn't look good for Farage. It was a sham one-party election, so he can't play the "See? No one cares about my multimillion pound bribes, they still voted me in" card he was banking on. His only competition was a bin, and the bin actually did well. Meanwhile, as Goats says, he's now subject to the enquiry he tried to avoid.
He played a strategy that was supposed to be win-win, but the other major parties totally hamstrung it. And, credit where credit's due, the idea for the others to not stand this time was an absolutely genius move that, in fact, came from the static TV screen of a brain that belongs to, of all people, Kemi fucking Badenoch. Stopped clocks and that.
Meanwhile, polling shows Farage has actually lost a LOT of his voter base and support from the bribe thing. Again - even Kemi Badenoch is able to go "Hardly the man of the working class like he claims". So... Yeah. As OP says - interesting next few weeks coming
Pretty embarrassing as well that Farage’s excuse for not attending announcement of the results was that the police had told him there was a credible threat to his safety (as opposed to the real reason, which is that it’s pretty difficult to do a rousing victory speech when what you did was get more votes than a man with a bin on his head) and then a couple of hours later the local police come out with ‘yeah we definitely didn’t do that’.
