hard to gauge if the answer to a ''how's your life been going'' should be ''im deconstructing everything about my relationship to expiriencing emotions and im finding it hard to grasp that im a real person who exists'' or ''been getting into wildberry jams lately''

asked one of my coworkers how she's doing today and she goes "could be better, could be worse," and another coworker nearby who was eavesdropping chimes in with "could be a lil bit o' alligator curse!" i have no idea what he meant by that but i do know that it has been immediately added to the lexicon.

arthur lesters main problem is that he has the perfect combination of vulnerable body and indomitable spirit that make him basically irresistible to anyone and anything with a functioning prey drive. if he whimpered a little less prettily or mouthed off a little less competently i think maybe 80% of the plot of malevolent would not have happened this way.
