Done that thing you were supposed to do but keep getting distracted from?

Brushed your teeth?
Cleaned up your space a little?
Walked around for a couple minutes?
No? Then...
Get a snack! Whatever makes you happy! Cereal is a standby in our house!
Drink some water! I like to add raspberry lemonade propel packets to mine ❤️💛
Take them now! Unless going off schedule would mess with them, then follow what is recommended by your doctor!
Make a small start on that thing! We all get distracted, and the best way to start is to start - even if you don’t finish it now, you’ll feel a little better with some headway under your belt!
Take one! Pick out your favorite shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion/etc and get all clean!
Brush them! Your favorite toothpaste is a great motivator for this!
Just get the trash and any dishes taken care of! I promise you’ll feel a lot better about your space once you do that.
Get up and move around! If you like, you can do it outside and get a little sun while you do! Or you could just walk around your space for a couple minutes!
Do you have multiple things from the list and now you feel overwhelmed? Don’t worry!
Just make a list of the most important ones to you and work from there. It doesn’t have to be everything - it doesn’t even have to be multiple things - but if you’re feeling off-footed or bad it might be because you’ve missed something here.
The issues you’re experiencing may not have anything to do with these, or it may make taking care of them harder, but I promise if you’ve been neglecting these for too long it’s not making you feel better. Sometimes the only thing we can do to take care of ourselves has nothing to do with the problem at hand. And that’s okay! Please take care of yourself the best way you know how!
