hello and welcome to my blog! i try to post mostly about my own writing in here but other fascinations often seep through the cracks. i love herbal teas, pitted fruits, post-apocalypses, fairytales, strangeness, lonely women and girls, florals, unpalatable victims, florid prose, long books, unbalanced and un-parsable power dynamics, heart emojis, magic with great and terrible consequences, & poetry. many of these things show up in my fiction and life so if you are drawn to them as well feel free to hang about.
currently writing: the Magicians Hour (high fantasy amalgamation about the orientation of the lives of a disparate group of people in the aftermath of a civil war around a magical object that serves as the entrance to a mysterious labyrinth), & Salt Birds (low-fantasy novella about dreams, isolation, and the epic highs and lows of having someone else in your house)
currently reading/watching: How Europe Underdeveloped Africa, Henry IV, the Count of Monte Cristo, the Apothecary Diaries, Our Wars Have Ended, House of the Dragon
