people need to stop advising each other on how to spot AI images/ videos based on increasingly unreliable minuscule details and start advising each other on how to find fucking sources. Not only because 9 times out of 10 your most reliable "tell" that an image or video is AI is finding the source account literally tells you in the bio, but because this is also applicable to spotting when somebody is Lying On The Internet. Something people increasingly seem to forget absolutely can and will happen without the use of AI.

Anyway I think more video game quests should make you uncomfortable and guilty and mislead you and corner you between a rock and a hard place and offer hollow victories. There's nothing more annoying than quest writing that scrambles to assure you that you're niceys and good and nothing you put your hand on can ever have negative consequences. "You cannot save everyone" and I cheer and whoop etc.

i just think if youre usamerican and within an online fan community for something thats also predominantly liked by usamericans You should be nicer and more open minded to fans that arent from the us and maybe dont treat them like some sort of strange fucking creatures. you might get more fans to talk to and befriend if you dont act like the us is the default for everyone in existence. this applies to everything ever when it comes to interacting with others online but im talking about fandom bullshit currently so keep that in mind

again, this applies to literally everything. it applies to all sorts of minorities within a given group, they will get alienated and treated weirdly for not fitting in and have their rightful complaints ignored so they dont wanna engage. im just speaking from how ive felt in online fan communities as someone not from the us or imperial core in general

a lot of rpf can be explained by the fact that actors are all like that with each other constantly but i never want to say that on here because it feels like telling a 7-year-old santa isn’t real

actors hanging off of each other constantly isn’t a sign that they’re fucking it’s a sign that they were once in a BFA program and never relearned normal boundaries. when actors are fucking and it’s complicated they won’t even stand in the same room with each other.

all the basketball players no longer have names. someone did some amazing shit with the ball lately but we just cant tell you who

all the teams have been dissolved and recongealed into sort of one organism. the players are normal - the change has not been biological - but a sacred vow of some sort has been undertaken

all the games now take on more the appearence of roiling waves crashing into eachother ceaslessly. and the roster of each team seems to have been randomised. seems to be constantly rerandomised

sometimes mid game, players will step off and others will step back on, or will seem to have switched sides, once, and then twice, and then again and again.

adherents of the sport, which we have been asked to not name, have told us that this is all not the correct framing. in truth all the players are the same. no one is changing place and all are. wr are asked to cease to observe any individual part of the game and rather percieve it as an endless self balancing process of two diametrically opposed forces.
