I'm surprised the knight kink crowd hasn't picked up on the fact that historical knights had a habit of capturing each other for ransom. What do you mean you don't see the sexual tension in rivals seeking each other out in battle or through ambush, deliberately avoiding harming their target so they may be taken back to the attacker's castle, either held as a prisoner or as a honored "guest" as the case may be, until they are redeemed by their friends and allies?

i didn't even pay attention to the page count when reading books as a kid unless i was almost finished and excited to feel accomplished, hello? what do you mean grown adults won't read a book with too many pages? the pages aren't actually part of the story. why are you making reading a numbers task? it's not about numbers silly! reading is about words!
I do really love it when women write graphic and fucked up things. I still appreciate the AI resistance, but if we put half the time and effort from anti-AI posts into rewarding human creative, mental, intellectual, and emotional labor (especially that which happens for free, monetarily) by commenting, encouraging, and engaging, we would keep more humans in the game.
Part of why AI-generated content is so dominant is that AI can produce endlessly, while it takes humans consideranble energy.
Like, I'm tired, discouraged, hopeless, and depressed. Every time I share a piece of writing the following silence and indifference makes me want to never share anything again. I keep doing it because I have no self-respect and self-worth, but next time you post angrily about individuals (ab)using AI, consider writing a heartfelt, long comment so they don't quite.
Like, with every upload, I want to give up on my worhless creativity a little more. Because who gives a fuck?
You can't really hate that much on the CEO who fires creatives or laborers in general if you, too, are not willing to reward/reimburse free creative labor at least emotionally.

Most writers don't have a writing problem. they have a finishing problem. and finishing is its own completely different skill that has almost nothing to do with talent. finishing requires you to be okay with the thing being real, being done, existing in the world where people can have opinions about it.
And a lot of people would rather keep it unfinished and perfect in their head than done and flawed and out there. an unfinished draft can still be anything. once you finish it, it becomes one specific thing with specific failures that specific people can point to. so you keep tweaking. you keep saying it's not ready. you go back to the beginning again.
And the years pass and you are a person who is always working on something and never the person who made something. and those are two completely different people with two completely different relationships to this thing they claim to love.
