DM TO BE ADDED TO THE TAG LIST
I'm Res, a 36 year old forensic analyst by day and creator by night! I write horror pretty exclusively, as I am a huge fan of the genre as a whole. My main love outside of horror is pro-wrestling, which you will see plenty of too on this blog. Now onto the work intro!

EXPLAINING THE LODGE UNIVERSE
You work for the Lodge, an enigmatic organization that stands as the veil between the mundane and the occult. It is both a protector and hub of scholarly research, safeguarding humanity from magical and mystical threats while shielding the hidden world of paranormal beings from exposure and persecution. Agents of the Lodge are tasked with a sacred triad of orders: research the unexplained, contain the dangerous, and protect all who dwell in the shadow of the occult veil.
The main universe follows the stories of agents at the Lodge proper, starting with Ottilie Khan.
APOSTATE VERSE: FBI agent, Bell Baylor, has always had a touch of the odd about him, from the time he was a boy in Romania to his present-day life investigating interstate homicides. When a case of serial murder leads him and another agent to an up-and-coming company town in rural Georgia, though, Bell's strangeness becomes emphasized by the curious nature of the town. With rumors of a cult to an eldritch deity swirling, Bell has to discover the truth about the murders and his own past, all while trying to navigate a strong suspicion that the local wealthy family is hiding more than the typical rich-people-skeletons in their closets.
This offshoot follows the stories of Bell and the cult of [redacted].
SAWDUST SAINTS VERSE: There exists a town near the Delta region that has existed independently longer than any other in the region. Seemingly immune to hurricanes and floods, its only other remarkable feature is a medium-sized local theme park (originally a county fair) that marks the forest line. The people in town rarely visit the park, relying instead on a steady flow of outside visitors to keep the place alive. However, after a few intrepid snoopers go missing in the local woods near the park after live-streaming something strange in the back lots of the amusement park, a Lodge + government rescue operation is put forth to see if they can save the amateur investigators and discover what exactly is going on in the town.
This offshoot follows the members of the rescue team and the Sawdust Saints themselves in epistolary format (....hopefully).
ASHMOUTH VERSE: There are many caves in West Virginia, and luckily, outsiders have spent generations failing to see what makes the one in [redacted] Hollow so special. There are always superstitious stories in small, tucked-away places like this in the mountains, anyway. Despite growing up in the holler, Caster Broom tends to believe with the same skepticism possessed by outsiders. Then, the mining operation moves in and begins in earnest, and people start disappearing… Including Caster's younger brother. Armed with nothing but stories from ancestors in the holler referencing a creature deep in the cave, Caster has to rescue his brother before the mining corp collapses the cave to prevent Lodge interference.
This offshoot follows Caster Broom and his family.
