The first city is in North Portland. The second city is san francisco. cities three four and five are around various parts of boston harbor, and city six is up the columbia river from portland. Cities 7 and 8 are in and around Seattle. the new city "born of trade opportunities" is baltimore. The city in the red circle is up the sacramento river from san francisco bay, and the most recent city is in lake oswego, south of portland.
