Hi! I'm Mordred! I'm an unemployed trans woman who writes smut, makes zines, does photography, and does sex work. But because of a recent hate campaign by a bunch of terfs, I have been banned from PayPal and venmo and can't really make money off of those things anymore. I've been struggling for months looking for a job, but I am disabled which makes it really hard to do.

I'm in desperate need for money for the two bills above, and rent, and meds, and groceries. If there's any way I can get help with these things I'd be eternally grateful. I'm trying to get by until my husband and I find a new apartment we can afford better (it's in the works) but for right now I desperately need help.

So from then on whenever one of us called something problematic, he would make us talk it out until we could name the “bad” thing we were hinting at. In this particular class, 7/10 it was some type of oppression, and the remainder was like, “I’m uncomfortable because this is very new/confusing/pushing boundaries that made me feel safe.”

Once we stopped calling things “problematic” and stopping at that, class got way more interesting and... we all had to say, like, “that’s racist” or “that’s misogynistic” or “ew capitalism gross” out loud, which a lot of us had never done in a classroom before. Or we had to be like, “Uhhh... I’m not sure what’s so bad?” and confront our own beliefs and that was maybe even more useful.

Jonathan Joss was an Indigenous, gay man who was murdered on the first day of Pride month as well as Indigenous History Month. He died protecting his trans husband. Homophobia and racism aren’t marks of the past, and this is a heart breaking reminder of that.
