TODAY'S FACT IS
Did you know that the California Pink Glow worm (Microphotus angustus) is a nocturnal glow worm firefly found in the southwestern US (especially California) and into Baja California and Sonora, Mexico? The males will eventually develop into a firefly but the females keep their larval appearance, just getting larger. The light that the females emit doesn't blink in and out and instead is a constant green glow.
