We're going to start with non-Doctor Who

The Destiny We Choose- Dragon Age fic that novelizes Dragon Age Inquisition written from the perspective of my Inquisitor. Started it 11 years ago and I do intend to someday finish it.

Seventeen Foot Lowtown Tallship- Another Dragon Age fic that... it started out as a throwaway crack story in which, during Hawke's time as Champion of Kirkwall someone lists a ship for sale that is supposedly owned by Varric. So Varric spends an irritating several months being hounded by various people who "want to buy the ship" or just "didn't know he had a ship" or "didn't take him for the seafaring type." This was a fireside story told in the previously listed WIP but accidentally became a fully fledged outline that I would very much like to have the time to write into a very funny short story from Varric's perspective.

The Memory of Light- extremely angsty Rings of Power fic (don't judge) focusing on Galadriel's guilt, self-doubt, and self-reflection following her accidental betrayal of her people and Middle-Earth. As of the premiere of the second season is is extremely AU. I am honestly not sure I will ever finish it, but we'll see if that hyperfocus will come back to me with the new season this fall.

ANYWAY, given who tagged me, I'm guessing that there is some degree of curiosity about what Doctor Who Things I have cooking.

Stitches in Time- (Ten and Donna) A sort of... Season 4, between the running type of a fic? Focuses on the friendship between the Doctor and Donna and how it grows over the course of the season. Loosely episode tag-y and the central plot of the who thing is a jumper. yep... Currently up to the penultimate chapter. Should be finished within the next couple of weeks.

The Precarious Art of Friendship- (Ten and Donna) (<- Nathaylee will tell you this designation is BS, but I stand by it... mostly.) Set post-Midnight. The Doctor and Donna decide to crash a harvest garden party on an agricultural world, for a total change of pace, but it both turns out to be a huge, upper crust political, aristocratic-type thing AND a murder mystery because seriously... The Doctor cannot go anywhere without something going tits up.

The Nile: A Treatise (working title)- (Ten and Donna or... something like that) I have no idea if this one will ever be posted publicly, but if you message me, I might send you a link once its finished. It's definitely not right now.

Go and See the Stars: this is a glorious Wilf-travels-with-Nine AU that I ADORE so much!! over 150k words are posted, but we're stalled on series 3. but we DO have that whole series planned out already!! Isa's just been taking an extended break from writing.

Sail Away With Me: this Persuasion AU was Isa's and my first collab!!! it's a high-effort novel-length thing written in Austenian style that I'd personally LOVE to go back to some day when Isa's up for it—it's 95% outlined and maybe 15% written, so it's a matter of actually writing the rest!

DoctorDonna Day: a Groundhog Day-esque time loop situation where the Doctor's desperately trying to figure a way out of Journey's End! this is another Isa collab that is mostly her baby, so her writing break means it's indefinitely on the back-burner.

Shared Custody: Donna wakes up to find she doesn't remember years of her life—AND that she's sharing custody of her kids with an ex-husband she doesn't remember! (yes, this is a Doctor/Donna post-Journey's End fic, lol.) @winterjameson and I had a beautiful little nugget of an idea on Discord that's 75% outlined!! someday we'll dig into it properly—I'm manifesting that HARD

Close Encounters of the More Than Friendly Kind: a complete smut-fest, lol. it's mostly complete, just got to massage a couple of later chapters and get the epilogue finished. I'm already in the midst of posting it!

Time People Nobles: the Doctor's at the Noble home for tea when he notices certain oddities about Wilf...no points for guessing what's so strange about him!! this is separate from my Time-Lady-Donna series, but when I was struck with an opening scene out of the blue I simply HAD to outline a much larger fic following up on it!! maybe 60% outlined

Sprawling AUS

Geoff Lives AU: Geoff Noble lives another day and gets REAL judgemental of the badly-behaved broomstick in a suit who's leading his daughter on a merry chase!! this is maybe 20% written and 40% outlined, lol

iPod Shuffle AU: what if the Doctor was sucked into the void between worlds in Doomsday and the TARDIS went wandering through the cosmos to find him? THIS one started with a simple TARDIS POV one-shot and ended up spiralling into a HUGE sprawling outline that shuffles Series 3—5 episodes together in a random order to tell a brand new story!!! the one-shot's 95% done—it's next on my list to polish up after my current WIP—but the larger AU might or might not ever materialize simply due to scale lol.

Oneshots

Viva Las Vegas: a little one-shot situation that spiralled out from a goofy married-in-Vegas idea on the Doctor/Donna Discord!! I've got maybe 25% of the writing done, but the whole plot needs some doctoring to get the character motivations up to snuff.

Game, Set, Match: little one-shot where Sylvia watches Donna mope after The Runaway Bride and adds two and two together to make twenty-seven. clearly she's moping after that ridiculously-named bloke in the suit from the reception.....hilarity ensues!! this one's maybe 20% written.

Sequels

'Many Happy Returns' Sequel: don't wanna get too specific, but a one-shot follow-up IS on my list!! I've got the main idea nailed down, but I need to plan out more of what's going on there!

'Think of the Children' Sequel: THIS is one I've done some high-level ideating about!! might not be AT ALL what you'd expect, but it'll be a long one for SURE. lots of angst lined for this one, folks, be warned!!
