Not that I think all marriages are doomed but when deciding who to marry you should ask yourself “is this someone I’d want to divorce?” As in, is this someone I believe would be mature and fair, even when they’re upset and don’t particularly like me at the moment. Is this someone I could continue to trust while going through an adversarial process? And if the answer is no, don’t marry them.

he could have put it in his pocket or held it between his teeth. was it a subconscious gesture born of trust and familiarity? was it a statement to her husband that the two of them share something he can never touch? was it a statement to her mother that her resistance really means nothing? and Donna’s face, god bless Catherine. those eyes. she’s just staring like she knows she knows him and she knows he matters but her mind won’t let her grasp it. it’s why i love the truck scene so much— and god bless David for his glorious face and his subtle gorgeous acting— truly a man at the feet of the woman he worships and misses more than anything in the universe, for billions of years. the two of them are so subtle because not much is really required for them to express how utterly they love each other.

Engineering teams around the world have been attempting to develop new methods of seawater desalination.

Scientists in China have developed a more efficient form of solar desalination that uses 47.4% less energy than alternatives. After the first year of testing, the scientists believe that at scale it would be able to desalinate water more cheaply than producing bottled water.

The goal is now to scale the technology for use in coastal areas and islands experiencing water insecurity.

Within the first few hours of its discovery, people on Twitter used this tool to generate an Epstein Island attraction at Disneyland, a mega-prison within Google’s headquarters, and a sequel to 9/11.

Google has already announced that they will be “rolling back” this feature because of screenshots like these:

The tech industry’s ridiculous urge to add Ai to anything and everything is so pathetic. What next literal horse shit with added Ai, they’d probably wax lyrical over how it melds the literal with metaphor. Who on Earth other than the parasites still insisting that Ai is going to be the next big thing, that it’s essential to humanity would think that a map app needs fucking Ai? Especially image generating Ai? At this point I think big tech may need surgical intervention to remove their heads from their arses.
