all the best weed in america comes from a single farm run by the last bigfoot in existence
My prediction for the ccod finale
This is the best thing ever
Honestly, I think City Council of Darkness works so well comedically because Madelaine and LaVonte (until he gave up in the finale in favor of embracing the madness) are the only two members of the Coterie that are actually attempting to play VTM.
Vesper is playing DnD 5e, Darkness Man is playing a hyperviolent version of Masks: The Next Generation, Zaeth is doing all the sidequests in a video game out of order, and HJ is just vamping during a standup set while actively getting tomatoes pelted at him.

Getting down on my knees and thanking the humans who invented dishwashers and washing machines.
InsNe that dishwashers are more efficient and easier than just washing them manually but they also use less water. It’s a win win situation
They ALSO sterilize dishes, due to operating at a far higher temperature than human hands could ever tolerate. It's a win every way.
Made this post about 15 minutes after the repair guy who fixed the pump on my dishwasher packed up his tools and left, as the dishwasher was whirring along doing my dishes from that morning.
He said the exact same thing, which I did not know before that, so spreading this knowledge.
Obligatory Technology Connections videos on dishwashers.
Several times on here I've seen the take "I know local theater is bad and cringey, but you have to support it anyway!" And while I understand what they're getting at, I'm always like, why do you assume it's going to be "bad" just because the artists are members of your own community? I just saw a local production of The Importance of Being Earnest and it was HILARIOUS. Everyone was DELIGHTFULLY funny and we thoroughly enjoyed it! There have been so many times I've been greatly moved by "amateur" or student art, and if you can't allow yourself to appreciate anything but "the Best" (and who decides what "the Best" is anyway? This production of "Earnest" was way funnier than the version that Judy Dench and Rupert Everett were in, as deservedly "famous" as they might be) then you are just being a joyless snob. There's beauty and talent all around you. And if that makes me "easy to please," then well... That means I'm pleased more often! And why should I want to apologize for that?
#see‚ it's not about eating your vegetables or pityfucking the local art scene #it's about making the grave mistake of believing yourself to be past surprise. #in my old age i have seen too many outstanding (or outstandingly ambitious) works by unknown artists #to presume which venue i will be seated at the next time i see a lifechangingly good performance #if you wanna be a prick and commodify it yeah sure i guess it IS gambling money and time you'd otherwise use on DoorDash and Phone in Bed #but i don't think that's any way to live life. incuriosity is weak as hell. neither you nor your art will survive the winter (tags via @deadpanwalking)

10/10 dynamic
The best thing about Nancy Danderhoof is she's technically, mechanically Bat Child's enemy.
Sony's announcement that they're getting rid of physical discs just has me appreciating Valve more.
Like I'm no Valve stan. I held out hope that the Epic game store would create real competition to break down Steam's supremacy, and I'm kind of uncomfortable every time I shop on Steam because I know my purchase is impermanent.
But Valve has a pretty great return policy for games, and if you exceed their no questions return window you can submit a request to have it honored anyway. I've had at least one successful return through that. Plus if a game has significant problems they may widen that window even more. They run regular sales and notify you if a game on your wishlist goes on sale, which makes paying for something potentially temporary and limited a lot more comfortable. And they don't have a history of just taking purchased products away from people without refunding them.
Also you can gift games. Playstation doesn't allow that, which makes the idea of getting rid of discs just crazy. A gift card is not the same thing!
So shopping on Steam is conceptually uncomfortable, but it doesn't feel like a scam or anything. Something bad might happen, but it's out in the future and not assured. Sony getting rid of discs feels like a scam that is definitely, for sure going to hurt consumers.
City Council of Darkness spin off that's about Nancy Danderhoof's adventures in hell, chasing down Banksy so she can get her Pulitzer.

Did Darkness Man diablerize Richard Nixon? Who Diablerized an Antediluvian? Is he an Antediluvian
This is what I'm asking! They just skated by that but I must know.
