Basically the Doctor has been stuck in time loops where someone dies a horrible death every time. He asks the Rani for her help but little does he know, that’ll lead to her getting stuck in the cycle as well.

Can we talk about how people turn disability into some sort of hierarchy?

Like, we’re already often discriminated both intentionally and unintentionally no matter what our situation is unless we hide it like a sick animal. So why do we have this sort of hierarchy?

“Oh, you have POTS? Well I have hEDS and need a cane.” “You have EDS? Well, I have epilepsy and need a service dog.” “Oh, you have seizures? Well I have chronic arthritis and am almost always in a wheelchair because of it and need a medical aid.”

Like, do you want an award or something? Why are we doing this? Just because you’re more visibly disabled doesn’t make someone else less so. We’ve managed to get past most age discrepancies when it comes to disabilities and what they look like but for some reason, we can recognize “minor” and hidden disabilities but also make them another person’s problem.

It doesn’t matter what we do. If you’re visibly disabled, then suddenly you’re a burden. If you have a hidden disability, then you’re lazy. We’ll get called every demeaning thing in the book no matter what so why are we making it competition?

Sorry if this sounds mean but congrats, you got a service dog, do you want a fucking award? Your condition went from needing a cane to a walker. Do you want a prize or something? It’s not a competition. We should be fighting for each other since we’re all part of the same group that faces discrimination. You can have monthly migraines and advocate for someone else to get the wheelchair they need. You can be in the hospital half your life and still tell others that hidden disabilities doesn’t mean someone is lazy.
