The reveal was a celebration of the fact that one of her pregnancies had gotten far enough that there WAS a physical sex to reveal. From what I can tell from a bit of research (read: googling it) this is legit. I’m going to go up into the mountains or something and test it.

It’s a traditional Asian trick called “Yentiabang” or “butterfly fishing”, and it works because those are all horny males trying to mate with that fluttering piece of paper.
