Hi guys, I'm in a tough spot and hoping for a miracle.

Tonight, my mom's AC unit completely died. Because of her disabilities, she is extremely temperature-sensitive. The heat is quickly becoming unsafe for her. At the moment, I am a full-time trade school student living on a meager stipend, and between that and her disability benefits, we do not have the funds to buy a new unit or pay for repairs at the moment.

Because of the rules of the building we live in, we cannot use a window unit. We need a portable air conditioner (the floor kind with the hose that vents out the window), which is unfortunately much more expensive. These often cost about $200.

When I hear "tumblr sexyman," I think of Cecil Night Vale being constantly depicted as a skinny white man instead of literally anything else. I think of the background character white men who get elevated over protagonists that are women, people of color, or otherwise not the white man power fantasy.

i am pretty sure that the belief that you could solve problems with the death note is the problem that you cannot solve with the death note.

anyway, i commented about this in a chat, and someone said they would try to use the death note to eradicate diseases, and probably get killed by the shinigami for doing it wrong, which would at least solve the shinigami's problem
