For the last few days I’ve been trying to cancel a membership and corresponding credit card to one of those large warehouse stores. I’ve had to call into a credit card call center and sit on hold for 15 minutes, give up because my lunch brake was over and I had to go back to work, go into a local branch of the warehouse store to speak to a person, not get a refund on said membership however succeed in getting the auto renew canceled, call the credit call center back since I’d already been charged for the new year since the local branch of the warehouse said they couldn’t refund me in store, get told by the credit call center that the local branch should have been able to process the refund, have the credit call center try to transfer my call to the warehouse customer service call center, not be able to get through to the warehouse call center due to a local storm in their area, and be told I need to try the warehouse call center tomorrow to get my refund.

*Gasp for Breath*

Pardon my language, but being an adult is fucking ridiculous. I have more anxiety about calling the warehouse call center back tomorrow than I have about anything else in my life.
