“Yes, I am Sorcerer Supreme again. The why’s and how’s aren’t really any of your concern.”

“Didn’ realize I needed a tome on yer life in order to reach the same conclusion I can get jus’ by lookin’ at ya.” He purses his lips dramatically and then sucks at his teeth. “Fine. You a fan of grave robbin’?” 

“Levitating with style.” He corrects. “What part is the issue? Getting used to floating or trying to control how?” 

“C’mon. I’ll let you touch the metal arm.”

warren let out a slight laugh, “— you show me yours and i’ll show you mine?”

“Megan.” His expression softened. “It’s good to see you, too. I wish I could say I was truly back, but..” He trailed off, shaking his head and changing the subject. “How have you been? A lots happened since I died.”

“— i don’t know anybody with wings. pretty damn cool if you ask me,” quill nodded, moderately impressed, “- and don’t worry, i don’t touch without asking. what kinda guy do you think i am?”

peter’s expression softens, shifting into a slight grimace in embarrassment as he straightens back up, “shit, no— you’re totally right. i am so sorry. it’s just something i don’t really see much where i’m from. but you’re right, that was totally inappropriate of me.”

he takes her hand, a bit too eagerly, but cools down a bit as he speaks, “nice to meet you megan. and yeah, i know the type—” he laughs briefly, a few specific individuals coming to mind. “i mean, i feel like it’d probably be a little weird if i walked around demanding everyone call me angel.”

“How do you know I haven’t already touched them?” Tommy asked with a playful brow raise, his form shifting as he sped to stand at her side and nudge her.

warren immediately looked for the nearest reflective surface in a panic before taking care of it, posture relaxing visibly as he turned around once more to face the girl. he hadn’t noticed her own wings at first, but now that he had, he couldn’t help but stare. quickly shaking himself out of it, however, warren offered up a hand for her to shake, “- thanks. i’m warren.”

peter held up a hand with an apologetic smile, “wasn’t planning on it, don’t worry— they are really beautiful though. never seen anything like it.”

“woah,” peter took a half step closer, but kept his hands to himself, scientific mind on high alert, wonderfully fascinated by the idea, “do you mind if i just look? swear, i won’t touch.” peter made a point of folding his hands under his armpits.

“Confusing, maybe not. Maybe just a little…” She shrugs. “You’ve made some interesting choices.”

He pulled it free from his head, holding it deftly between his fingers. “Do you really wanna know – got the feelin’ you won’t like the answer, chere.” 

“Still haven’t gotten the hang of it huh. Tricky thing, flying. Then again, didn’t take me long at all.”
