I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with
But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is rude.
It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.
It's not just rude to make me read something you didn't want to write. It is that you expect me to respond to your email written by Claude. You don't even want me to talk to you. You want me to talk to Claude so that you can make Claude respond for you. It is rude to expect me to talk to a chatbot when I wanted to talk to you.

Very nicely preserved 1875 Victorian in Harrisburg, PA, 5bds, 3.5ba, 4,602sqft, cut $27.5k to $487,500 + $25mo. / HOA
I like that it's pristine. No fancy decor, it's just a nice, original, basically untouched Victorian.
They papered the fireplace chimney and it looks like new brick, but it's fine. All the wood is intact.
It's a very large sitting room.
And, it has this cute little alcove sunroom with pocket doors. I would shut myself in there.
In here, there's a home office.
Unfortunately, they completely blocked and wallpapered the fireplace, leaving only the mantel. I wonder what's under that paper.
The kitchen's cute. Plain and original painted cabinetry, the stove is set into the original stove area, and best of all, the original ice box is still set into the wall.
That's definitely an original cabinet and closet in the corner.
And, look at the pantry. This is pretty.
Nice, light hallway.
It looks like they turned the primary bedroom into a family room with a kitchenette.
