The other thing is that after 413 and the epilogue I decided to reread Homestuck start to finish. By the time I was done I realized that not only is Homestuck actually still really good (go ahead, put me in your cringe compilation), but also what a formative experience reading it had been for me. I was 14 when I discovered it, and it really did influence my growth from a stinky little gremlin boy into the okay-ish young woman I am today. I don’t think I’d be the same person without it, so as far as I’m concerned Andrew Hussie saved my life.
