My boyfriend, Joey has always been the kind of person who gives selflessly, even when he has little left for himself. Recently, heās faced a lot of challenges that have made life incredibly difficult for both of us. After losing his job, he's been struggling to keep up with bills. Things were already hard when we had a difficult roommate situation that drained our resources even further previously. Despite these setbacks, heās been doing everything he can to turn things around, including working toward a certification that will help him find new employment.
But the financial strain has become too much, and his car was repossessed last week. This has been a huge blow for us, not just emotionally but also practically. Without a car, itās nearly impossible for him now to get to job interviews, attend classes, or take care of daily needs. Reliable transportation is essential for him to regain his independence, secure a job, and to even start maintaining his own health.
We have until MARCH 13th to get the car back.
We need $2k to get the car back,
The car itself is $7k.
The $8k goal is to cover any other potential fees such as tow fees.
I'm reaching out to my own community for help because I fully believe in second chances and the power of support. You guys helped me when I needed it most, and now I want to give that kindness back.
