Today we were able to perform the surgery on my nephew

But our ordeal isn't over yet. After the surgery, the doctors urgently recommended medication, painkillers, and post-operative care to alleviate his pain and help him recover as best as possible. Unfortunately, the cost of this medication and treatment is around 500 euros, an amount beyond our current means.

Please, this is a young child who cannot bear the pain and cannot tolerate any delay. Every hour that passes without providing his medication means more suffering and pain for him. He is currently under the influence of painkillers from the operation, but in a few hours their effect will wear off, and he will begin to experience severe pain if we cannot provide the necessary treatment and painkillers as soon as possible.

Fadel's project was about creating an integrated system for managing the water desalination plant in Gaza electronically. This is an incredibly important project, because Israel has systematically destroyed Gaza's water treatment infrastructure, blocked repairs in countless ways, and targeted workers. It is extremely brave to be working on this project. Please donate so that Fadel can one day lend his skill to rebuilding Gaza. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.

While Fadel shared this happy news with friends, he was interrupted by Israeli helicopters bombing nearby. There were four strikes on Gaza City last night and at least ten people were martyred. this one kinda hurts when i see it every pride month. im glad to see an art piece of mine still circulating, and with nearly 100,000 notes too! it just hurts that im separated from it. everyone in the notes thinks im gone. im still here, but my potential community and connection is lost because im forgotten in place of the art. yeah, my deactivated profile does add to the profoundness of what i was saying, but i am still removed.

I also think that the strength gap is at least partially manufactured women would in fact be stronger overall if little girls were encouraged to do physically taxing games and activities and eat their fill while they’re growing vs having to constantly diet and be sedentary indoors (or god forbid do intense cardio while under-eating). The amount of adult women honestly afraid to lift weights bc they think they’ll get bulky as though bulking isn’t a full time job that athletes have to spend all their time on and anyone on earth gets shredded from just using their adult muscles for their intended purpose, girl your bone density 🥀
