1994 ReBoot ABC Press Photo - Bob

Alright ladies and germs, it has been a while since I posted something so I figured I'd give an early Christmas gift.

This one has been dug up from an undisclosed Seattle Newspaper/Magazine's archives and may have been used as a promotion package for ABC's 1994 Saturday Morning lineup as I have seen similar images available for other ABC shows from that year like Bump in the Night and What A Mess.

Giving the image a closer look you can see from the crude shapes of Bob's hands that this was an early render of Bob.

Above all it has been scanned and cleaned up for all to enjoy.

Bootlegs!

Now I can't recall if I picked these up on eBay or from a flea market but nevertheless they are one of a kind and interesting.

Apologies for the blog being dead the past few days, been working some long shifts. I should be posting my (to my knowledge) exclusive Bootleg Irwin figures within the next few days.

Dot’s Donut flavour were epic XD The packets came with tokens on the back that you could save and send off in exchange for pins. I got all except for Megabyte and Hack & Slash (there was no Hexadecimal if I recall correctly…boooooo!)

Canadian Pogs

Here's a look at the Canada Games' Pogs for ReBoot released in 1995.

In the states there was another set under the name "Game Caps" instead of Pogs; I have that set in its completed form but have yet to organize it. Will post soon.

My Canada Games set is currently incomplete; I'm missing Pogs: 21, 35, 48, 54, 62, 63, 75, 76, and 77.

This scan was taken from a snippet from the not-so-well known IMAX Ridefilm: Journey to Chaos.

Sometimes there are things in this world that are just too cool. In the package I recieved I had a few 35mm film slides that were given as promotional images for press, archiving etc.

This was part of a package in 1993 before a lot of ReBoot's models and characters were finalized. As you can see Megabyte's chest looks a bit different and of course the logo hadn't quite been worked out yet.
