It's Yorkshire Television's 58th birthday today! And i decided to draw a flock of chevrons flying around the Emley Moor transmitter as a special drawing for the birthday. Actually i at first didn't have any ideas at all for the drawing and so i decided to search some idents for inspiration, and then to the landscape from YTV's region. I finally had an idea to draw Oliver near the Emley Moor transmitter mast, even though i did kinda struggled on choosing either Oliver standing near the mast or flying around it, before then my moot @owo21235likesitv suggested to draw a lot of chevrons representing the many idents, which i eventually chose for the drawing (thanks @owo21235likesitv). Now for the references inside this drawing, for the chevrons (from the top to the bottom) there's the prototype pre 1968 chevron, the B&W chevron, the 1969-1982 chevron, the 1982-1987 chevron, and then the 1987-2002 chevron. The rose is also a reference to Yorkshire Television's unused name and logo Yorkshire Television Network :
