This is something I randomly noticed in regards to Dr Agon's neck pendent:
In his concept art he doesn't have it at all.
The same also applies in the show's promotional poster.
In the very first episode there are several scenes where he is outright missing it. Every other episode he's always wearing it.
This leads me to believe that Agon's pendent as well as the whole shape shifting power it has was a very late last minute idea. Probably since nearly every other Gerry Anderson show had some character who is able to change their appearance in some way or someone who is good at disguises. I guess they just wanted to keep up the tradition.
So i'm guessing during filming of the first episode, some of the animators were not informed about the pendent. Probably only made one pendent instead of one for each model (every character had multiple models) so they forgot to keep putting it on the model they were currently using to film with whenever they switched to a different model. Until I guess they then made more pendents for each model or always made sure the model currently being used had the pendent on.
Felt nostalgic for this classic series! Worst Witch ‘98 is pure vibes! ✨✨✨
