Capitalism really dates for the beginning of the nineteenth century, with the rise of industry and cash crops over artisans and merchants. Vulture capitalism, with the notion that companies have no duties other than generating profit, is even younger.

One of the most interesting things about Vader's life is that he spends 20 years of his life (unsuccessfully) trying to undo everything Anakin Skywalker has accomplished in 3 It's very ironic that Anakin himself was the person who planted the seeds of rebellion way before Empire even happened Training Ahsoka, saving the Mon Calamari prince, creating Saw Gerrera's whole group despite the Jedi feeling somewhat apprehensive about the concept (I'm not even bringing up Luke and Leia) The fact that he most likely personally knows every single high-ranking rebel leader of any importance because his wife used to organize dinner parties for them, and because they used to discuss war effort matters any time Jedi involvement was deemed important Some people may dislike it, but Anakin Skywalker is literally the main character of this universe, because all the roads inadvertently lead to him and he's the cause of most things that happen between Episode I and Episode VI He's also the biggest pain in his own ass for all this
