I'm watching the 1995 Pride and Prejudice for the first time and am only on episode 2 but I absolutely see what the fuss is about. The way the internality of the characters is captured on screen is something I rarely see in any adaptation of anything.

ok, i've known this one has existed for a while, but i just found a BUNCH more information about it. It's the 2013 production written by Richard Croxford and Mark Doughtery (rip), and it debuted at the Everyman Theater in Cork before moving to the Lyric Theater in Belfast. that means yes we got another non-American P&P Musical!
most of what i found comes from this video:
from which we can already tell a lot! such as
the lyrics seem pretty close to the original dialogue, esp. the "a lady should have thorough knowledge" scene
lizzy is GORGEOUS and gods she can SING!
the costumes are great, my historical fashion friend say's they're also fairly accurate!
we got drag queen Lady Catherine in the house great choice i respect it
Darcy is doing the whole menacing act, also not a huge fan of his voice but that's just me
staging is pretty good and the music is solid

overall this looks like a very solid book-accurate P&P musical, that COULD end up being the second best in that category! but i NEED to know more, i've already sent out inquiries but if there are any irish theater fans here or if you know anything please???? give me info???
