The Problem I Mean: blatant favoritism towards only doing this with blue eyes, typically while also associating blue eyes with innocence, tranquility, mental acuity, emotional sensitivity, unspoiled nature, and (in the worst cases) holiness... all while making no such allusions for any darker pigmentations. these are very sociopolitically loaded biases. i don't think it's crazy to ask for a little introspection about why blue eyes are perceived as some epitome of natural beauty
