i’m speaking as someone who likes stursia and i don’t think the pluribus writers intend it to be this way, but do you think stursia could make for a good microcosm on how fandoms treat love interests as satellite characters. i’m sure someone could articulate this better than me

interesting phenomenon i’ve noticed is when animanga fans (shonenbros mostly, but sometimes even their own fans) keep referring to female mangaka by their first name, but always refer to male mangaka by their last name, sometimes in the same post (even pen names have proper first/last names)

certain weird route interpretations piss me off bc it heavily relies on transphobic rhetoric but people here accuse you of being an idiot if you dont think of it that way. like it cant just be some weird denpa yandere shit you have to insert a ‘male’ somewhere when there are none
