Highkey considering asking to up my dose of testosterone. After six months there’s been virtually no visual changes aside from a bit of facial hair growth. Is it just my baby face screwing me over, or can upping my dose actually help? Anyone been in a similar situation?
I'd talk to your endo! I'm inching in on a year on T, and my bigger changes are just starting to really develop. What changes have you gotten so far?Â
I don’t have an endo, just my family doctor :( I’ll ask her at my appointment in two weeks. Also for changes, the biggest one is my voice. I speak in a total male range now, and have baritone to soprano range. I have sideburns and facial hair on my neck and chin. A bit more body hair, but nothing too noticeable. My sweat smells different, I have mayyyybe a centimetre more of bottom growth, if anything, and that’s me being optimistic. And I’ve gotten a lot more acne. No fat distribution or muscle changes at all, which I think is what I need most to help me pass.
Ah, that’s good at least that you’re having some changes! The fat distribution, at least for me, also took a little bit. I still have a bit of hips, but at 1 year my shoulders are now broader than my hips, which is a fucking relief XD Given that you’re having changes like your voice and the acne/odor (those are important and also the first of the changes), I don’t think it would be too much to worry about! Patience is always super hard with stuff like this, but don’t panic! Talk to your family doctor, and keep an eye on any changes. I don’t think you should panic :) My dose is at .3 mL, what’s yours at?
It’s 0.5 mL once a week at 1000mg per 10ml, so 50mg per shot
