This is my reblog area where anything goes.

For a while now, I've been thinking that my main blog is kinda clogged up with things not related to otome (it's in the name after all), so, after some very hard consideration, I've decided to make a separate blog for things not related to otome things, to bring back the otome blog as it was originally intended.

Doesn't mean that I'm gonna go and deleted every non-otome related post on the old girl (there's already over 7,000 posts there), but it is going to have more of a focus on otome things from now on.

So, if you wanna keep seeing the random things that are not otome related that I reblog, you can follow this blog instead!

On a related note, I'll also be posting all writings from my @not-krys blog, then reblogging the otome stuff to the main blog (@krys-loves-otome ) while non-otome writings and things will be reblogged from here.

I remember as a kid the nearby small town had a "computer expert" who had a full storefront and office. If someone bricked their computer or it loaded with viruses he'd factory reset it for them and try to get it working again. He'd also buy, refurbish, rest, and resell old computers. But the main thing he advertised was if people brought him a computer and a list of programs they wanted installed on it he'd get them all set up. Flat rate of like 20 bucks.

Didn't realize until I was older and like, looking back on some of the tech stuff my mom needed help with and knew more about how software is priced that he was pirating it. Guy had a whole business set up where people who didn't know how computers worked would pay him 20 bucks to install Microsoft Office on their laptop because it was cheaper than buying it in the store and they didn't want to be bothered with figuring out how to install programs even if they could afford them normally. Like that guy was practically printing money well into the early 2000s. Very good hustle. Only small business owner I respect.

Sometimes you've got to hold your own hand.

For all the ugly things they had done, their entwined hands looked beautiful together.

The letter in their hand felt like it weighed a ton.

"My hand in your hand, it's all I need."

She looked down at her clean hands and wondered if the blood she felt would ever go away.

"Wanna hold hands with me?"

It's nice to be safe, but why does your guardian angel have to hold your hand all the time to keep you safe.

The sword lay heavy in his hand, but it was all the responsibility on his shoulders that really weighed him down.

"Would you be so kind to keep your cold hands to yourself?"

The coffee in her hand felt like a lifeline this morning.

"I wanted to take your hand. I wanted to take it so badly."

They only realised they were holding hands the entire time, the moment they had to let go.

In her hand everything seems to become a weapon.

"Relax, it was one time. You don't have to ask for my hand in marriage - yet."

They weren't ready to let go yet. Not of the other's hand, but also not of the false sense of safety the other provided.

Sometimes the hand holding your own is the only thing that connects you to the world.
