Ever since you were a teen you were terrified of being in a relationship. How ironic considering the fact you were a hopeless romantic. Maybe it was because of seeing so many relationships that seemed happy falling apart, maybe it was because of your friends coming to you crying about how they broke up with their partners. You wouldn't know.
So of course, dating for the first time was a mess. You had kept your own feelings bottled up and never decided to explain, too afraid that he would think you were weird or that he would push you away. Except telling him nothing led to your relationship falling apart.
After that you decided to not date ever again. You didn't want what happened to happen again. You were too afraid.

And yet you somehow fell in love again. This time with someone you considered a friend. He treated you well. With patience, with kindness, and yet you were still scared. Especially because he was the type of boyfriend so many people wanted.
Said relationship ended, except this time on a decent note. He had noticed that you weren't opening up to him and he knew that he wasn't your match. You had tearfully given him closure as to why you couldn't open up. And he never blamed you, just giving you a tight hug while rubbing your back as you wept.
You wished him all the best.

After your 5th relationship you had given up. Especially when the 5th one only dated you because he thought he could "fix you" as if you were a broken toy. Not a person who needed time to heal. And so that had made you realize that you were not meant to date. Maybe in the future, but not now. You had been loved by many and yet you couldn't love back, no matter how much you wished to.

Fun fact: if you're 1-2 weeks along in pregnancy and you get an x-ray that passes through the embryo, there's a 50/50 chance that the embryo will survive and have all its cells and information intact or that it will be obliterated. Also you can't touch the hair on instrument bows because the finger oils ruin them which is the same reason you have to pluck the string of those stringed instruments over the fingerboard so that the finger oils don't get on the bow.
