This exchange between Pope and Lucy has me spiraling.

Pope trying to get Lena back 😭

Ok but fr Shawn’s performance in this scene KILLS me. The desperation in his voice when he pleads for Lena.

“Please don’t write this down” 😭

“No one will tell me where she is” 😭

They took Lena away from Pope l am NOT DOING WELL

I mean…not to feed into the stereotype but it’s very much a real thing. My ex enlisted in the Army after high school and did a 4 year stint…white boy 😆

I also grew up on a Naval base in the PNW and there was and continues to be a large amount of mixed families. Predominantly with the Filipina wife and white husband.
