I haven’t touched Mario Kart Tour in ages (about to do so again lol) but it’s shutting down in two months… I’m considering live-streaming its final moments? I’ve seen recordings (not live) of Mario Kart Wii’s online play shutting down twelve years ago or the Wii Shop Channel seven-ish years ago. Had the chance to witness both but I didn’t. So I wanna see what Mario Kart Tour will look like if I’m in the middle of a race when the game shuts down.

It’s gonna happen at 8am on September 30 where I am, and Reddit says universities in the UK usually start at 9 so I have a good chance of being free. Obviously my studies are my priority, though.

Anyone wants to join in? You can add me as a friend and we can play online. The game’s free, after all.
