I still think about Nintendo randomly killing Daisy in February from time to time... why did they choose her of all people!? Not like I'm complaining...

Yikes, I just checked and 2024 also seemed to only have one General Nintendo Direct and it was in June. I sure hope this isn't a repeat of that and that there is another one this September. I think it should also be noted that there was no June direct in 2025. I've heard that 2024 was the original planned release year for the Switch 2 so that's why there were a lack of announcements.

If there is another Nintendo Direct this September, I actually don't mind waiting. Last September when they announced the Galaxy movie, I was quite pissed. Because I already knew at that point that Rosalina would be there and Daisy wouldn't, but that hadn't been confirmed yet either so I still had the tiniest bit of hope. Wasn't really interested in Mario Tennis (because of the price) or the Yoshi game (I think it's too childish for me haha). So I was like, "now I have to wait six months for another direct", under the impression that it would be in March. I'm very grateful that I didn't know that the next MARIO game would actually be announced at least a year later at this point thanks to today's Direct. The wait this time should only be three months, assuming they're not going to delay or cancel it. I have the whole summer holidays to enjoy and when it's over I'll still be looking forward to the Direct. Then I'll hopefully be excited for some awesome Mario game releasing within the following five months and when I'm done with that, I'll be waiting for the alleged 2027 3D Mario game. Then who knows what else there'll be! At least I know I'm getting Daisy content in 2029 ;)

Let's hope the next direct is in September then ✌️ can't wait to be crashing out over uni and procrastinating studies in hope of a Daisy game...

24 hours from now, I’m probably going to either be really happy (MORE DAISY CONTENT) or really sad (ROSALINA GAME NOOOOOOO) or indifferent (no Mario games (of my interest)) but no matter what, I’m super excited and scared for tomorrow’s direct!
