I'm back. It's 12:03 am and I'm eating some ramen at my dorm desk like a real college student. In all actuality, I forgot to eat all day because of move in and all. Anyways, having a good time so far!
My dorm is super cozy and nice, I love it!!

If you ever feel dumb, remember that I once told my mom I had after school tutoring (I wasn't lying), forgot to go, texted her asking where she was, and had her come pick me up an hour early because they wouldn't let me back into the school building.

I find it quite funny how, being born in 2008, I am the year of the rat. Despite this, my biggest irrational fear is rats, aka musophobia
As with most cases of musophobia, my fear of rats was formed from repeated childhood trauma
Sometimes I wonder what it would've been like for me if the scurrying of rat feet or the moving of a leaf in the corner of my eye in an old shed didn't send me into a mental panic, but then I remember
Sometimes, things happen. They hurt. They leave marks. But they don't define who you are
In the end, I probably would've ended up the same person despite my irrational fear. Perhaps I am even better off now, who knows
All I know is that my fear won't hold me back. And yours shouldn't either

I wanna spend my last day (tmr) with my family and Wednesday I'm going to be traveling to my school and Thursday is when I'm actually going to move in, so its a lot
This marks about the 1 year mark of me being on Tumblr, so thank you to all my moots, especially the OGs who were there for me during senior year.
We've all come such a long way and I can't wait for the future!
But yeah, imma be gone for three days. So. Don't worry. :).

I do recommend you take a fourth day off just to adjust to the new living environment because it can certainly be a transition, but that’s mostly how I felt when I first moved into a dorm, so take it at your own pace ^-^

I've had such bad luck with roommates. I had 4 before my current one and they all couldn't make the drive, since they were all out of state, so I kept getting new roommates
Luckily, I finally got a secure one. She seems pretty chill and she is actually from Texas, believe it or not!
